I was blown away by the tour of Jewel Caves. If far exceeded my wildest expectations. I had wanted to bring along my two grandsons aged 2 & 3 and am very pleased I didn't. The booking process was simple and straightforward and I was impressed that we weren't charged more for the experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging and there were excellent opportunities to take pictures all in all a fantastic tour and now really want to visit the Lake Ca

Our tour guide was lovely, she was so knowledgeable but made the experience interesting and fun without telling too many facts. The cave was very cool to see and for the price, I would definitely recommend the experience.

Such a beautiful place! 😍 The cave was amazing, especially the underground and all the rock formations. Our tour guide was really friendly and explained everything well. There are quite a lot of stairs, but definitely worth it once you get inside. Such a cool experience and definitely worth visiting if you're in Margaret River! ❤️

Wow! Incredible! Such an amazing find. Matilda's tour was just fantastic - she was fun, great with the kids and adults alike and very informative about the history and findings and science behind the cave. Felt very safe up and down the stairs and have some incredible photographs. A must do in WA!

What an amazing beautiful cave. Had a fantastic young lady as our very informative tour guide. After our lovely cave tour we popped into the cafe for delicious scones and coffee ☕️. The shop had some lovely items for purchase too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The light show was amazing. It made me feel like I was in heaven. The 5.3 ton heavy crystel hanging from the roof was something unbelievable if I had not seen with my own eyes.

There are over 300 steps each way to access the cave.

Additional information

Jewel Cave Guided Tour

The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour and covers three underground chambers.

The cave is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except on Christmas Day.

An optional self-guided Karri forest walk is available after your cave tour.

Group sizes may be large during peak times; booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially during school holidays and weekends.

Children and older adults are welcome but should be comfortable with stairs and a moderate walking pace.

The on-site café offers snacks and refreshments for purchase.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

For the best experience, stay with your group and follow your guide’s instructions at all times.

Mammoth Cave Self-Guided Audio Tour

This is a self-guided audio tour; allow approximately 1 hour for your visit.

Audio guides are available in English, French, German, Malay, and Mandarin.

The experience concludes with a walk through the Marri and Karri forests.

Transport to and from the cave is not included in your ticket.

Children must be supervised at all times during the visit.

The cave features prehistoric fossils and unique limestone formations—please do not touch or disturb any natural features.

Lake Cave Guided Tour

Your ticket includes a one-hour fully-guided tour and entrance to Lake Cave.

Transportation to and from the cave is not included.

Maximum of 30 travelers per tour.

The cave environment can be cool and damp; dress appropriately for the conditions.
