Ronald picked us up right at the Marriott Los Suenos and was an awesome guide, really knew his stuff. We ended up seeing so many more animals than if we’d tried to go alone. Those scopes the guides use are a game changer—we would’ve missed most of the animals without them. No need to stress about snapping photos either, Ronald got great shots through his scope and shared them with us. Both breakfast and lunch at a local soda spot were included, and the food was pretty tasty. Our driver handled the roads like a pro too. We also made a quick stop at the beach after walking, which felt super nice and refreshing.

We did two tours each day, and this one was hands down the best. Our guide made the whole thing so much better—he was fantastic at finding all kinds of animals and bugs, and even took really good pictures of them for us to keep. This tour is something you shouldn't skip.

Had such a great time. Ronald was our guide and super patient, always looking out for hidden creatures I never would've noticed. He took photos and sent them to us after, which was really cool. Just overall a fantastic time.

Honestly, you really do need a guide for the NP and Toucanes was a great choice. Our guide was Alan (I'm pretty sure), and he was fantastic with the kids who were with us. We saw so much wildlife and got loads of awesome photos. Would totally recommend. The beach is gorgeous—we hung out for another hour once the tour finished.

Fantastic experience. Alberto, our guide, explained everything really clearly, was super patient with everyone, and took some awesome photos for us. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does and knows his stuff inside out.

Have your camera ready as your knowledgeable guide sets trained eyes on diverse flora and fauna for you to capture along the way, and take advantage of the Pentax and Swarovski telescopes your guides carry to make those images in your memories and photographs even crisper. Please note: Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Tuesdays.

What to bring

Bring suntan lotion, a camera, sunglasses, and hiking shoes for your comfort and safety during the tour.
