The Inner Circle and Windsor tour was absolutely perfect. If anyone is interested in experiencing the real energy and magic of Stonehenge, this tour is a must. I particularly recommend the morning tour. Even though you have to wake up very early, with departure at 5:30 am, it is absolutely worth it. You basically have Stonehenge to yourself, shared only with a small group of people. You can wander among the stones, take your time, and really feel the energy and wonder of this extraordinary place. It is a completely different experience from seeing Stonehenge during normal visiting hours. Windsor Castle is spectacular. The amount and quality of exceptional art on display is remarkable, with works by Van Dyck, Bruegel, Rubens and Holbein, to name just a few. Another great advantage of the tour was that we skipped the queues and went straight in. Angela was a terrific guide: extremely knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely passionate about what she does. She shared fascinating information and details that you would not normally find in guidebooks, answered all our questions, and had a wonderfully warm and caring attitude throughout the day. The coach was very comfortable, air conditioned and equipped with WiFi and USB charging points. I highly recommend both this tour operator and, in particular, Angela as a guide. It was a truly memorable experience and absolutely worth the very early start!

The Stonehenge inner circle tour was amazing. Being able to walk right up to the stones is completely worth it. Our tour guide did a thorough job presenting all the theories about the site, too. Highly recommended!

The sights were beautiful and the meet up as extremely accessible. The schedule was just right since I had the right amount of time to explore around and catch the trains. Also, Manon was so friendly and knowledgable and she made the tour. Best part, as always, was having inner access to Stonehenge, and it makes the experience worth it

Have your entry tickets and ID ready for a seamless experience.

What’s not allowed

Photography is strictly prohibited inside Windsor Castle.

Large backpacks and pushchairs are not allowed inside the Windsor Castle State Apartments.

Hot food and beverages are not allowed on this experience.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along on this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is partially wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

The early access tours run on select Saturdays, while the late access tours are available on select Mondays and Saturdays.

Early tours visit Stonehenge first, followed by Windsor, while late tours visit Windsor first, followed by Stonehenge.

If you choose the Windsor Castle option, you will not be able to join the walking tour of Windsor.

Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tours with entry to Windsor Castle are unavailable on these days. Instead, you can go on a walking tour of Windsor.

St. George’s Chapel at Windsor is closed to visitors on Sundays. On some days, the State Apartments may also be closed.

English Heritage and National Trust England members can enjoy free admission to Stonehenge.
