If you access the sky terrace - which is absolutely worth it, there's really little point in also going to the observation deck. The view is the same, but obscured by glass, so save your money and just do the sky terrace.

Booked the combo ticket of Sky Terrace and Observation Deck for New Year's Day. Visited the tower at dusk and loved the experience. The crowd wasn't much, waited in queue for around 30 minutes. The 360 degree view from the Sky Terrace is absolutely mesmerizing. Tip - SkyTerrace is a must and also gives too option of getting your photos on the glass floored SkyBix, with Petronas Towers lightening up the skyline beautifully. If you want to save some money, skip the Observation Deck.

Easy to access - unlike Petronas towers - tickets are available on a shirt notice + flexibility to come at any time during the day of purchase. Plus you can see Petronas (which you cannot if you are on them :).

Not at busy as Petronas Towers. With uninterrupted views. Would have stayed for lunch. But no window tables available. We really enjoyed the views.

Went a little later in the day to avoid the crowds which made for a great experience to finish the day with. Being outdoors was the special highlight .

I love tall buildings and towers, so I was looking forward to going to KL Tower. I really enjoyed the skydeck, great views of the city but without any plexiglass in the way. It wasn't crowded at all, I went early in the day, and it was very fast to get in, I experienced no lines at all. I didn't feel rushed at all, and stayed out to enjoy the cool weather and views, before heading to the other observations deck that is enclosed and I didnt enjoy that as much. The staff was friendly and there were shops available with souvenirs and snacks.

Il biglietto che ho acquistato COMBO non prevedeva le pedane sul vuoto che sono 2 e per entrambe abbiamo pagato per salirci, poi ci hanno scattato foto ad un prezzo esorbitante.... fatevi le foto con il cellulare!!!!!!

Luggage and personal bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” are not allowed at KL Tower.

Outside food & beverages are not allowed into this experience.

Professional photo/video shoots require prior approval.

Drone photography is not permitted unless authorized.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller-friendly.

Additional information

Guests are required to check in using the MySejahtera app.

Due to a strict maximum capacity limit, all guests are required to join the mandatory queue at KL Tower to book their time slots.

Tickets can be used on another day if they remain unscanned due to weather conditions.

The Sky Terrace will remain closed in the event of inclement weather.

Kuala Lumpur Tower New Year’s Eve 2026 (Dec 31, 2025): The tower will operate from 9am to 7pm, with last admission at 6pm; no entry will be allowed after 6pm, and all visitors must exit by 7pm.
