Well we covered the entire city in a day which would not have been possible otherwise. The buses were bang on time and thus one could plan the excursions accordingly and return to catch the bus for the next destination.

What a fantastic way to see the beautiful Tokyo sights when time is limited. The commentary is superb and full of both location information on key places and historical information. Our own personal guide from an elevated position. Ample opportunities to stop and enjoy each stop.

Excellent tour. Buses turned up on time and all the staff were courteous and helpful if we had any queries. The commentary was interesting. All in all it was a good day out at a reasonable cost.

This is an ideal way to get an appreciation of the city. We took the two day tour. Unfortunately the first day was pouring with rain. We managed to get inside on the top deck on the Red route. the Green route was on a coach which didn't have headphone for the commentary. After a while the driver connected the commentary to the broadcast system. We tried to go on the Blue route but the bus only had 8 seats undercover, all already taken, and none downstairs, so we didn't go on it. The next day it was fine so we were able to go on them all with good views of the city.

We've done many hop on hop off bus tours and they are a great way to see the city you are visiting. Others left some negative comments about this tour but Tokoyo is not set up like other citites. The attractions are spreadout and you have to do some walking. You also have to do your homework to figure out what you want to see. Thinking you can just get on the bus and and figure it out when you get to the stop really isn't' going to work on this tour because of how the city is laid out. The 3 different lines eventually connect at one stop so you have to opportunity to take all three tours. Each line has an audio recording that plays along the route. Some buses have headphones but others don't so it's best to be sure to bring your own earbuds so you can play the audio on your phone. Overall we had a great day driving around and seeing many interesting spots around Tokoyo.

I had an overall enjoyable experience with the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in Japan today. What I appreciated the most was the availability of three different routes, each offering a diverse range of tourist attractions. This flexibility made it easy to explore the city based on personal interests and time availability. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The live map feature would be much more helpful if it were fully available in English and integrated directly with navigation apps like Google Maps, similar to what is offered in Singapore. This would significantly enhance convenience for international travelers. Additionally, I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member on the Red Course (R1) this morning. The staff was quite firm and insisted that we move to the Green Line due to the long queue for the Red Line, even though we had specifically planned to take the Red route. Instead of offering a suggestion, it felt more like we were being redirected to a route that did not meet our needs. The interaction came across as discouraging rather than helpful. Furthermore, the staff’s attitude on the bus was not very polite, which affected the overall experience. With some improvements in customer service and system usability, this could be an even better experience for visitors.

Connection between roures was very good and having a set timetable was very helpful in planning ehen to get off and when to rejoin a route. Commentary on red and blue routes was good, but on green route, audio guide was more difficult to figure out and it did not automatically follow the route. Some of the on-board staff gave additional commentary, but this often drowned out the audio guide. Would have been nice to have more historical information. One day pass is sufficient. Two days mot worth it.

The meeting point was not clearly outlined. Additional information like "by Apple Store" would have been helpful for foreign guests not famtwith Tokyo. We were dropped off two blocks away and there were others there too we had to ask drivers of an out of service bus where it was.
