Preshow was very interactive with a lot of activities to learn and participate. Gift area was plentiful. Performers were very entertaining. MCs humor was well received and on point. Seating was ample and well positioned. It started to rain and ponchos were provided to all guest. Food was awesome, a lot of serving lines and lines moved fast. Bar was good.

The entire experience!! The history stories. The cultural dances were AMAZING! And the food...seeing how the pig was cooked. THAT was outstanding!! It even rained that day before it all got started. But it just added to the greatness. I can't wait to go back and experience it again!

we came to Hawaii for the first time after dreaming about her for over 20 years. I thought we should do a hula experience and after researching many of them decided on the Mauka Warriors. It was a very wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. I was worried that the food would be too strange to enjoy, but we did enjoy it and there was a lot of it. Truly a great evening! The show was fabulous!

What to bring

Know your leis:

What is a lei? A garland or wreath worn around your neck, as a symbol of love, honor, respect, celebration, and friendship in Hawaiian culture.

Shell lei: Made with locally sourced shells, they are long-lasting wreaths worn around your neck, unique to Hawaii.

Kukui nut lei: Made with polished kukui nuts, sourced from the kukui (or candlenut) tree, these long-lasting leis signify harmony, honor, and respect.

Flower lei: Made with seasonal flowers & leaves, these leis symbolize the Aloha spirit and are presented as a welcome gesture and are a sign of celebration, affection, and friendship.

Hula: An ancient Hawaiian dance form and form of storytelling, often with instruments. The chants narrate the story of Hawaiian history, nature, traditions, & mythology. Modern interpretations include singing and ukulele.
