The cabins are spacious and comfortable, and the journey itself is smooth. The ride takes roughly 20–25 minutes and gives you plenty of opportunities for photos. The cable car connects Sunset Town with Hon Thom Island and is famous for its long sea-crossing route. Current traveler reviews consistently highlight the scenery and the cable car itself as the strongest part of the experience. The main thing to watch out for is crowding and operating intervals. Some recent visitors reported long queues, particularly around the return journey, and the cable car may have a midday operating break depending on the day’s schedule.
