It was my daughter's birthday present and my granddaughters first time at the zoo. The weather was good and we all had a lovely day. The penguins were the star of the show

booking was very easy no difficulty, zoo staff were most helpful always around for questions apart from the hill gradient being steep is most definitely worth the entrance fee don't plan on doing anything else as you need to take it slow not rush better to plan for the whole day very very enjoyable day, only draw back is the price of food and if planning to buy souvenirs even for gifts for one person expect to set aside up to £100. I spent £35. BUT all in all I would rate my experience 10 out of 10 and plan on going again.

Sunday -17 th May we had an amazing day at Edinburgh Zoo! The zoo is very clean, well organized, and the animals look well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were lots of interesting areas to explore. We especially loved the penguins and the beautiful views across Edinburgh. A perfect place for families, couples, or anyone who loves animals. Highly recommend visiting!

Very good show, kept us interested the whole time. Great staff who helped me with my disability and helped everything go through smoothly without worrying. Very interactive and a good way to learn history without kids reading books etc.

4yr old grandaughter had a great time. when asked what her favourite animals were she said giraffes flamingos they all were. Stopped at penguin cafe a great 1/2 way stop friendly staff and great snacks. Will definately be back

The penguin enclosure was fantastic as always. The talk from the two members of staff was also funny and informative. The qhole zoo is kept clean and tidy, so huge credit to the team that make that possible.

The zoo was quite beautiful. Lots of steep hills but very manageable. Giraffe exhibit was amazing as was seeing the tiger so close up. The tiger looked stressed as she was pacing a lot. Great experience!

What a laugh we had. The actors keep it all going to well. Thats my 4th visit over the last 7 years and I love how its been different each time We pre booked on line as it saves quite a bit of money

It's a fabulous place loads if animals to see, set amongst fantastic views. Loads of things for children to do too. Well worth a visit
