Unbelievable what Dali created in his life It was such a big experience to come with my 2 daughters to the museum. Everything what we saw was from such a high level. Every room and space we saw and looked totally different. Everybody around the world have to see what Dali created. He is one of the top 3 artist in the world. Thank you Salvador. We love you! ❤️

The Dali museum was high on my list- and it did not disappoint. The bold art, gorgeous design, and the sheer amount of Dali's work is breathtaking. The crowds are a bummer but just try to go away from the large groups. It's worth it.

El edificio, el contenido, la presentación y el pedido sonal son excelentes. Probablemente sobre gente que había demasiada, recomiendo ir lo antes posible antes que lleguen las excursiones.

The paintings by Dalí are truly impressive, and the building he had designed is equally spectacular and imposing. The museum itself is definitely worth a visit for both the art and the unique architecture. However, I was a little disappointed that there was very little information available about Dalí and his life on site. Without booking a guide, it was difficult to learn more about the artist and the background of his works. A little more written information would have made the visit even more interesting and informative.

Ambiamo visitato il museo in famiglia, ed è stata un' esperienza unica nel suo genere. Io e mia moglie abbiamo registrato le facce stupite ed incuriosite delle nostre figlie davanti alle opere surreali di Dalì. La visita ci ha restituito una rinnovata immaginazione e amore per l'arte. Consiglio a tutte le famiglie con figli adolescenti di visitare il museo e raccontando la vita di Salvador Dali, della sua epoca, dei suoi amori e delle sue opere.

Molt bon tracte per part del personal del museu. Varem arribar mes aviat de l'hora concertada i no varem tenir cap problema per entrar a fer la visita. Trobem a faltar tenir alguna audio-guia a disposicio dels visitants o mes visites comentades durant el dia. Un geni con en Salvador Dali necessita esser mes explicat a nivell divulgatiu.

Museum had so much of Dali's work to see. It is a true immursion into Dali and his ideas. We went later in the day so it was not as busy but at times I had to wait to get closer to a certain piece. The building itself is a work of art and quirky like Dali's works. If you are in this area of Spain it is well worth the admission price.

Getting started

Arrive at Gala Dalí Square (Figueres) and present your ticket for timed entry. Security checks include handbag and backpack screening. Follow staff guidance as you begin your self-guided route through the museum.

What to expect

Dalí Theatre-Museum

Conceived and designed by Salvador Dalí, this museum is often called the world’s largest surrealist object. Its centerpiece geodesic dome crowns a space where Dalí’s vision unfolds across rooms, installations, and his final resting place.

Features:

Rainy Cadillac: Step into the central courtyard to view Dalí’s famed installation anchoring the museum’s theatrical spirit.

Geodesic dome & Treasure Room: Access the stage beneath the dome and the Treasure Room; Dalí’s tomb lies below, adding historical resonance.

Rooms 1 to 24: Explore paintings, sculptures, optical illusions, and immersive set pieces across distinctive rooms designed for discovery.

Fishmongers’ Room: Visit this exhibition space as part of your museum access for added context on Dalí’s practice.

What’s not allowed

Smoking, drinking, eating, and touching artworks are prohibited inside the venue.

Objects larger than 35 x 35 x 25 cm, rucksacks, bags, umbrellas, and pushchairs are not allowed on this experience.

Handbags and backpacks will be searched at the entrance checkpoint. For safety and security reasons, objects deemed potentially dangerous (knives, penknives, etc) must be collected at the end of the visit.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Professional photography is strictly prohibited at the venue. You need prior permission for shoots.

Accessibility

Some areas of the museum are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Accessible parking spaces and public transportation options are conveniently located at the venue.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.
