Fabulous collection, we'll laid out. I highly recommend buying the short guide, sit in the café and have an Aperol Spritz while you read it. Going to the gallery with your head full of information makes it a great experience.

The Headout gondola cruise starts first with a Virtual Reality presentation covering background history to Venice and gondolas - very good. And caters for those who wear hearing devices!
Note you need to turn up at the Headout office.
Then it's a short walk to the gondola, seating five. Two of them get the heart-shaped seat - the others have flat seats. Can't change positions once you're onboard (as one tried during our 25-minute trip causing a panicky shout from the gondolier as the boat swayed threateningly!)
All in all it was a fabulous experience.
(As at our springtime break, getting a gondola ride for two people without booking was typically 90€)

Yes, it was cheesy, but my parents were living for it. As first timers in Italy and Venice, they enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for helping my parents cross off a bucket list item - what a wonderful way to spend the morning in beautiful Venice.

I was very pleased with the trip—it wasn't long, but it was impressive. Both the guitarist and singer were excellent, featuring the most famous and beautiful Italian songs and arias. The only thing that bothered me was that the musicians and gondolier were in casual clothes, which was a bit lacking in local color. And the trip was essentially 25 minutes long. At 350 euros, they could have done a better job.

Pensavo fosse una trappola per turisti, invece è stata un'esperienza davvero bella e si è mangiato molto bene! In versione estiva il galeone è totalmente aperto e quindi ci si gode il panorama al massimo. La cena dura 3 ore ed ha le giuste pause per consentire di girare per il galeone e fare una serie di foto con lo splendido panorama che è Venezia.
Servono 2 antipasti, 2 primi, un secondo e un dolce oltre a un prosecco di benvenuto, una bottiglia di vino e una d'acqua. Avendo scelto il menù di pesce era tutto a base di pesce, non mi è tanto piaciuta solo la crespella (il secondo primo) che era vegetariana. Bella la musica di sottofondo e buona l'illuminazione che veniva accesa e spenta per consentire di mangiare con calma e di godersi al meglio il panorama quando non c'erano piatti a tavola.

I liked travelling on the water. I enjoyed the glass blowing. I was disappointed that there was no time to spend looking around on Murano.
