What's not allowed

For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum. No storage facility is available.

This experience is not suitable for wheelchairs and pram/strollers.

For maximum safety, all guests must go through an airport-style security check at entry. Expect to stand in line.

This tour runs, come rain or shine! If there is a heavy downpour, some areas of the tour will be closed for safety reasons.

This is the last entrance of the day to the Colosseum, the tour inside the monument will last for 1 hour followed by a walking tour from the outside of the Roman Forum and Imperial Forum.
