It was definitely worth my time!!! Sugar loaf was a sugar rush exciting experience!!! I love how organised, kind and courteous the guides were. It is wonderful place to spend the day with family and luckily I was with my sister. The location has the cleanest public rest rooms I have seen on such tourist site so far. Definitely enjoyed my time Christ the Redeemer was a spectacular treat, I will definitely return with my family as much as I can. Catholics would definitely appreciate the confession station. It also so beautiful to watch the sunset from the top.

Tomamos dos paquetes, uno al cristo y otro al estadio del maracana, ambos 10 de 10, fue rapido y fácil el acceso, siempre existe la duda de si es real o no, y en este caso confiamos para ahorrarnos un poco de dinero, al comprar el primer paquete, nos dieron un 25% de descuento por lo cual ahorramos como 100 reales. Sale mas conveniente que arriesgarse en un tour (porque apuran para todo) o en una van(los pueden estafar). Al maracana de igual forma nos demoramos en llegar y los niños fueron muy simpaticos y todo fluyo.

Una experiencia inolvidable. Todo estuvo muy bien organizado desde el transporte hasta la visita al Cristo Redentor. El guía fue amable, puntual y compartió información muy interesante durante el recorrido. Las vistas son impresionantes y todo el proceso fue cómodo y seguro. Sin duda volvería a reservar con Headout y lo recomendaría a cualquier persona que visite Río de Janeiro.

What to bring

Carry your printed voucher to exchange for a boarding pass at the Corcovado Train box office on the day of the visit. Ensure your ID is on hand for a smooth experience.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, light clothing on hot days, and carrying sunscreen and sunglasses.

Accessibility

The train and viewing platforms are wheelchair accessible.

The experience involves climbing about 222 steps. But, for your convenience, ramps and elevators are available at the statue.

Additional information

Boarding point: Rua Cosme Velho, 513 – Cosme Velho.

Getting there: The Corcovado Train departs from Cosme Velho Station, located about 30 minutes by car from central Rio areas such as Copacabana, Ipanema, and Flamengo.

Avoid driving your own car since there is no parking nearby. Use a taxi, Uber, or public bus to reach the station.

The selected time slot is for the train going up to the Statue, the exact departure time will be confirmed on your boarding pass. Arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time for a smooth boarding experience.

Note: Trains depart approximately every 30 minutes. Priority boarding applies only to the uphill train; return transfers are on a first-come, first-served basis. So, plan your return accordingly.
