Cadbury World is a great and comprehensive place to visit a chocolate factory with children, learn a little about the history of chocolate making and have a great time. The whole excursion is structured as a tour, but at the same time you can move at your own pace without rushing. The whole visit is very diverse, you can try to make chocolate yourself, watch the creation of a chocolate factory, take a beautiful photo, which can be bought as a magnet or key chain, 4D cinema, a small train ride, which is full of surprises and very exciting for children. In addition, right next to it is a nice picnic and play area for children.

The grandchildren had already been with their school but we hadn't ever visited. All of us had a great day enjoying all of the experiences. Parking was very easy, the queue to get in was small and the experiences moved on nicely from the Aztecs to the present day. As it was lovely weather the children spent a long time at the play area whilst our grandaughter went to the Magic Show twice. All of the staff were lovely and obviously enjoying their jobs. Highly recommended to all ages!

Getting started

Begin your visit at the main entrance, where your tickets are validated and you’ll receive 2–3 Cadbury chocolate bars to kick off your adventure. Follow clear signage to the first zone; staff are on hand to assist with accessibility and directions.

What to expect

Cadbury World is a landmark attraction dedicated to the history, making, and fun of chocolate, brought to life through immersive zones and hands-on activities. This experience is designed for all ages, blending education, play, and plenty of sweet treats.

Aztec Jungle: Step into a lush, jungle-themed area that traces cocoa’s ancient origins and its journey from the Aztecs to modern chocolate.

4D Chocolate Adventure Cinema: Enjoy a crowd-favourite film with Cadbury characters, motion seats, and a Crunchie rollercoaster sequence that delights both kids and adults.

Cadabra Ride & Chocolate Quest: Board a gentle ride through a chocolate wonderland and try your hand at a laser quest, with extra chocolate bars often given post-ride.

Interactive Chocolate-Making Zones: Participate in hands-on chocolate drawing and tempering demos, and sample cups of melted chocolate with your choice of toppings.
