I am a big music fan, especially british rock music, so it was a great and really fun experience. All the staff were really helpfull and kind as well. They answered our questions, and were interested in talking to us and helping us. As a huge arctic monkeys fan, i was also really happy to see the arctic monkeys exhibiotn about their debut album, and also got to go to the talk with one of their employess about the album. Buying tickets with headout was easy, and also cheaper than it would be in person or possibly on other online sites.

Worth visiting if music is your thing. You can play different guitars, drum kits and synthesisers. There is even a recording studio setup. Found it bit pricey going there with 2 kids, but they enjoyed the experience. You also get a 1 year free entry with the ticket, which is okay if you coming back to visit Liverpool.

Set inside Liverpool's iconic Cunard Building, this exhibition charts the story of British popular music from the 1940s to today through over 600 artefacts.

There are 2 entrances to the British Music Experience: one on Canada Boulevard and an accessible entrance for wheelchair users on Brunswick Street.

This attraction is fully accessible by wheelchair. Wheelchairs are also available to reserve.

Guests with hearing impairments benefit from the integrated loop systems in the audio areas (switch hearing aid to the T setting).

River Mersey Cruise

The ferries are fully accessible on the main deck, including accessible toilets on board and at the terminals.

British Music Experience

From time to time, the Museum has a planned closure for private hire. Please always check the website before travelling.

A typical visit is 1.5 to 2 hours, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

There is no dedicated parking. There is street parking available on Water Street and Brunswick Street.

Last entry 75 minutes before closing time.

The Merch Store and Star Cafe are open during museum operating hours and don't require a general entry ticket to access them.

River Mersey Cruise

There is a complimentary digital audio guide in multiple languages. Simply scan the QR code at the ferry terminal or onboard to access it. For the best experience, please bring your own headphones, ensure your phone is fully charged, and you have mobile data enabled. If you don't have a smartphone or device, you can request a printed cruise fact sheet from a member of staff

Dogs on short leads and bikes are welcome on board the ferry.

Toilets and accessible facilities are available both on board and at the ferry terminals.

The River Explorer Cruise operates with hourly departures from Liverpool Pier Head - Gerry Marsden Ferry Terminal, with the first and last departure times varying by season and day of the week.
