Enjoyed the ride it's very scenic , had already seen some of the trip driving through , got the red train back and to be honest it wasn't bad you can still see a lot through the windows . The only dissappointed bit was st moritz which I found underwhelming apart from the beautiful frozen lake . Had wanted to do st moritz to Chur but don't think I will now .

Fue una increíble experiencia de principio a fin. Desde la facilidad para comprar los tickets en la aplicacion, hasta Encontrar el tren en la estación de San Moritz (son los últimos trenes de izquierda a derecha, son rojos e inconfundibles). El viaje se puede disfrutar mucho mejor gracias a que se pueden abrir las ventanas panorámicas. Los paisajes son maravillosos e inolvidables, la ruta estará muy bien pensada para disfrutar y fotografiar cada momento. Tremenda experiencia estamos muy contentos de haberla vivido.

The service provided at Bernina Express is top notch, complete with little chocolates and juice boxes as a thank you gift. Staff speaks English, the views are spectacular and the trip involves even a 10 min stop for pictures. Not to be missed!

No words to explain the experience u get travelling on the Bernina! Certainly lives up to the hype of traversing through the alps on the iconic train! Gives u the opportunity to get down and play in the snow or indulge in winter sports!! Tickets to travel on the bernina get exhausted very fast if u don't book it in advance!! While the parent website and many other sites did not show availability, I was able to secure tickets for my family through Headout!! Many many thanks for this and made the trip wholly memorable!!

Hop off at the off-beat stops, and explore Swiss villages, set off on hiking trails, or spend a lazy weekend at an Italian vineyard. Crack open windows during the peak season to click glare-free pictures and feel the crisp mountain air on your face.

Frequency: Every hour, 21 trains per day

Bernina Express

Children aged 6 and under can travel free of charge without entitlement to their own seat.

Reserved seats will be attributed automatically based on availability.

Standard-sized luggage is permitted, but space is limited. Travel light for a comfortable experience.

Seat reservation for the Bernina Express Bus is mandatory and not included.

The ticket has a 24-hour validity from the beginning of the departure date.

Bernina Red Train

Seat reservations are not required for the Bernina regular train ride, so you can board with ease.

Overhead racks and designated luggage spaces are available to store your baggage securely.

Food is not provided on board, but you are welcome to bring your own food.
