Además de llevarnos a conocer un lugar increíble Eva la guía y Elías el chófer fueron los mejores! Eva sabe muchísimo de lo que habla 😍 y es super cálid, atenta y amable, Elías un gran conductor, también muy simpático y amable! Me encantó la excursión en general, fue todo muy claro y la organización con los tiempos fue perfecta! La super recomiendo! Muchas gracias Eva por tus recomendaciones y tu atención!

Una bellissima giornata! Abbiamo avuto Sissi come guida, una persona squisita, affabile, gentile, disponibile, una persona deliziosa. Abbiamo ricevuto tante spiegazioni da Sissi, pur essendo stata una giornata lunga, 11 ore, talmente ben suddivisa e con 2 fermate in autogrill (in andata e di ritorno) , ci siamo proprio goduti la visita alle Meteore. Non per ultimo, Elias, l autista, bravissimo e disponibile. Grazie per la bella giornata! Lavinia e Luca, Italy

What to bring

Footwear: Wear supportive, closed-toe shoes with a solid grip for uneven paths and steps.

Water and snacks: Carry a refillable water bottle and a light snack, especially from June to August.

Dress code: Dress modestly. Men must wear long pants; women must cover shoulders and wear skirts below the knee.

What’s not allowed

Indoor photography: You can take photos outdoors, but do not photograph inside chapels or any monks and nuns without clear permission.

Drones: Do not use drones without prior authorization, as Meteora is a protected area.

Accessibility

Wheelchair access: Meteora's terrain is not suitable for wheelchairs, with stairs and sloped paths at every monastery.

Easier access option: If you have limited mobility, consider St. Stephen’s Monastery, which has a paved path and fewer stairs.

Monastery entry: You will visit up to three monasteries, but the specific ones may vary due to weekly closing days.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available at larger monasteries like Great Meteoron, Varlaam, and St. Stephen’s, and may require a small tip.
