I appreciated there being this dedicated rail service between Rome Terminal and the airport. Booking it was easy. The fare was reasonable. The journey was fine, it was on time, wasn't crowded (this was a weekday lunchtime), just travelled more slowly than I had expected. Only downside was couldn't find where I was supposed to validate the ticket at Rome Terminal (although that didn't cause us any problems) and finding the dedicated platform was problematic as the signs seemed to be non existent as we got close to it. We wasted at least 5 minutes while we were within 10 metres of the platform but saw no sign pointing it out

We had a great experience however we had one issue. It should be written on ticket what time you can scan and enter platform. We arrived early and the QR code rejected our ticket with no explanation. It put us in a panic and the first agent we asked wasn't helpful at all. The second agent explained to us we were too early and she helped us edit the ticket so we could board early. Other than that it was excellent!! Fast quiet comfortable good price. Beats traffic.

Train was delayed but only by 15mins, staff were helpful and efficient sorting us out. Train was clean and the journey was smooth enough for a standard service. The tickets to the airport from Rome was only €27 and the grip was faster than the Uber we took on the way in by quite a large amount. Will definitely use again next time we go to Rome.

Servizio ottimo: puntuale, confortevole, economico, ben collegato. La partenza da Roma Termini è stata puntuale, l'ambiente all'interno del treno è confortevole, la fermata all'interno dell'aeroporto di Roma è molto vicino al check-in. Barely made the train as the cuatoms process was terribly hard overcrowded and even the bus to customs was not sufficient. But we hopped on quickly and our online tickets prevented having to validate. Perhaps the cuatoms can learn how to get more digital and quicker like the train system!

Für mich als Deutsche war das Prozedere für den Zugang zu den Gleisen nicht klar. Trotz Ticket wurde ich abgewiesen durchzugehen. Das lag wohl am Zeitslot. Mit war unbekannt, wie man sich hier an den Anzeigetafeln orientiert, wann darf man durch den Eingang und wann nicht. Wir hätten fast den Zug verpasst und wurden dann mit einem "Avanti" - vom Personal in den Zug "gestresst". Der Zug selbst ist angenehm und ausreichend geräumig für das Gepäck.

Lo primero fue la localización del andèn (nro 29) en Termini hay 26 y el 19 se encuentra a casi de 250 metros de los accesos. Lo segundo el horario. Estaba anuinciado a partir a las 1820hs y finalmente salió 1845hs, después de esperar por 25min frente a la puerta del vagón para permitir el ingreso de los pasajeros, abren las puertas 1815 y sale 25minutos tarde. La idea era evitar el tráfico de Roma pero no supusimos el retraso del tren.

We booked online and our Visa card was charged for Rome Termini to FCO airport BUT unable to use the app to download the ticket. None of informaiton people at station were helpful. Ticket machines not working. Finally shown where the Visa tap and go was and that worked for one passenger but not a second one. Definitely charged twice for tickets and will have to file for return of charges. NOT HAPPY with experience!
