premised that I am much more attracted to painting than to Egyptian and Greco-Roman history, I enjoyed so much the masterpieces of Renaissance and Baroque, Flemish, Italian, French and Spanish painting. A true paradise! Bruegel, Vermeer, Rubens, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Caravaggio, Mantegna, Perugino, Raphael, Titian, Tintoretto, Velasquez, David and many others. Basically, they are all there!!!

The tour guide really brought the stories to life. However, it was a bit difficult to find the tour guide at first; you have to ask around to locate her. Perhaps in the future they should specify the exact location, for example, in front of the Raiffeisen building.

The Carriage Museum was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Vienna. I found it particularly wonderful to be able to immerse myself in history by seeing several real carriages and other exhibits that were used by the imperial court on an almost daily basis. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.
