Le téléphérique qui grimpe en deux étapes, d'abord jusqu'au Morro da Urca puis jusqu'au sommet du Pão de Açúcar, offre une vue à 360° absolument à couper le souffle sur Rio : la baie de Guanabara, Copacabana, le Corcovado avec le Christ Rédempteur au loin, et les favelas accrochées aux collines verdoyantes. Le moment où la cabine s'élève au-dessus de la forêt tropicale, avec l'océan qui scintille en contrebas, donne vraiment l'impression de survoler la ville entière. Le coucher de soleil est le moment fort : les couleurs orangées sur la baie, les lumières de la ville qui commencent à s'allumer, et l'ambiance presque irréelle du sommet à cette heure-là. Un vrai souvenir de voyage.

Weg met de trein naar boven. Het prachtige beeld , niet verwacht dat het zo imposant zou zijn. Gezien we de Suikerbroodberg dag voordien hadden gedaan was de verwondering van de omgeving boven minder spectaculair.

Espectacular, fue una experiencia increíble. En el Cristo no fue posible usar las escaleras eléctricas pero de igual forma es muy fácil usar las otras, en el pan de azúcar fue muy lindo verlo desde el teleférico. Me encantó toda la experiencia

La experiencia es completa. Desde el paso directo al embarque al haber comprado tickets con anticipación. La limpieza y los espacios del tren. Y la majestuosidad del Cristo Redentor, aún en un día sin sol. Gran experiencia, obligatoria si vas por Río.

Carry your printed voucher to exchange for a boarding pass at the Corcovado Train box office on the day of the visit. Ensure your ID is on hand for a smooth experience.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, light clothing on hot days, and carrying sunscreen and sunglasses.

Sugarloaf Mountain

Bring a valid photo ID for ticket verification at entry. Prepare for variable weather; pack a light rain jacket.

Carry cash or a card for food and merchandise, as some vendors may not accept cards.

What’s not allowed

Large backpacks and suitcases are not permitted on the train.

Drones and professional camera equipment require prior authorization.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the Christ the Redeemer area.

Sugarloaf Mountain

No outside food or alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the venue.

Large bags and professional photography equipment require prior approval. Smoking is strictly prohibited within all public areas.

The train and viewing platforms are wheelchair accessible.

The experience involves climbing about 222 steps. But, for your convenience, ramps and elevators are available at the statue.

Sugarloaf Mountain

The venue offers wheelchair access to the main viewing platforms, but some paths are uneven and steep.

Assistance is available—contact staff in advance to arrange support.

Pregnant women and guests with severe mobility or heart conditions should consult a doctor before booking due to altitude and walking requirements.

Christ the Redeemer

Boarding point: Rua Cosme Velho, 513 – Cosme Velho.

Getting there: The Corcovado Train departs from Cosme Velho Station, located about 30 minutes by car from central Rio areas such as Copacabana, Ipanema, and Flamengo.

Avoid driving your own car since there is no parking nearby. Use a taxi, Uber, or public bus to reach the station.

The selected time slot is for the train going up to the Statue; the exact departure time will be confirmed on your boarding pass. Arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time for a smooth boarding experience.

Note: Trains depart approximately every 30 minutes. Priority boarding applies only to the uphill train; return transfers are on a first-come, first-served basis. So, plan your return accordingly.

Sugarloaf Mountain

Cable cars run every 20 minutes or when full, holding up to 65 guests per cabin.

Good things come to those who wait, so please expect a considerable wait time before your experience begins.

This ticket does not include guided tours or transportation to the cable car station. Guests must arrange their own travel.
