    What our guests say

Our four days on the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Jeep Safari was something we won't forget. We got picked up right at our Nairobi hotel, nice and early, and our guide Wilson was calm and really seemed to know his stuff. Game drives in the Mara were packed with sightings—whole groups of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. One night, I even caught a glimpse of a leopard, which was a real treat. Over at Lake Nakuru, there were massive groups of flamingos and some white rhinos, totally worth seeing at least once. The small group made it all feel chill and not too crowded, and the pop-up roof on the ride was perfect for snapping photos. Our stays were clean and comfy, food was tasty, and the whole trip ran without any hiccups. Only thing, I wish there’d been a bit more variety in the meals, but overall, if you want a good safari in Kenya, this is a great pick.

This three-day trip was honestly a lot of fun, and it surprised me in a good way. The road from Nairobi is long, but stopping to enjoy the scenery made it worth it. The moment we entered Samburu, unusual animals started showing up—saw gerenuk munching leaves way up high, plus Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, which I’d never seen before. My favorite morning was by the river where crocodiles and elephants were hanging out together. The guide explained animal behaviors and why Samburu is special in a way that was easy to understand. The sunset turned everything gold and made the place look magical. Nights at camp were chill, and sitting by the fire was just the right vibe. The breakfast was clean and tasty. Since it’s not crowded like Masai Mara, you get to watch the animals without hassle. If you’re after something unique, give this safari a shot.

This three-day safari out to Samburu actually turned out better than I figured. The drive from Nairobi is pretty long, but at least there are a few scenic stops. Once inside the park, animals I’d never seen before started showing up—gerenuk stretching up to eat, oryx, even Somali ostrich. One of the best parts was spotting elephants and crocodiles hanging out at the river in the morning. The guide talked about the animals and the area in simple, straight-to-the-point ways so it was easy to follow. Come afternoon, the sun made the whole reserve go gold, which looked awesome. The camp itself is chill, nice to just relax by the fire after dark. Breakfast was simple but fresh. The reserve’s pretty empty compared to somewhere like Masai Mara, so spotting wildlife is easier. It’s a solid pick if you want a safari that’s different from the usual.
