The place was amazing! The views and the tour was great! I do think that there needs to be more clarity on the descriptions of the tour. The Jungel Expedition tour says that you'll be visiting movie sites from Jurassic World, Kong and Jumanji. I was suprised that we didn't get to go down to the movie sites and roam around - it was just a drive-by. It was the main reason we did the tour so that was disappointing. Otherwise, it was great. I would've chosen the other tour that included walking around the Jurassica Park set.

We had an amazing time on the Kualoa Ranch Jungle Expedition Tour! The entire experience was well organized, scenic, and filled with breathtaking views of Oahu's lush mountains and valleys. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting stories about the ranch's history, culture, and famous movie filming locations. The ride itself was comfortable and offered plenty of opportunities to take photos of the stunning landscapes. Every stop felt unique, and the natural beauty of the area was truly unforgettable. Kualoa Ranch is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience Hawaii's incredible scenery and rich heritage. Our family had a fantastic time, and this was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Oahu. Highly recommended! 🌴🌄😊

Absolutely incredible experience! The Jungle Expedition Tour at Kualoa Ranch was easily one of the highlights of my time in Hawaii. The scenery is breathtaking, and getting to see the locations used in Jurassic World in person was awesome. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole tour entertaining from start to finish. Between the movie history, incredible mountain and valley views, and the adventure of travelling through the ranch, there was always something interesting to see. If you're a Jurassic World fan or just want to experience one of the most beautiful parts of Oahu, I highly recommend this tour. Definitely worth five stars! 🦖🌴🤙

The Jungle Expedition Tour at Kualoa Ranch was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure. Our guides were fantastic — they shared so many fascinating stories about the area, its history, nature, and legends, making the experience even more special. Exploring the rainforest, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, truly made us feel like real explorers discovering a wild, untouched world. The guides’ knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling brought the jungle to life. A fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. One of the highlights of our trip! We totally loved our time at Kualoa Ranch. It’s such a gorgeous spot, super well-kept, and the staff are super nice and helpful. We booked the Jungle Experience and got super lucky to have Theo as our guide. He’s an awesome guy, a really pro driver and guide, and shared tons of cool history about Hawaii and the local plants. He’s super funny and took great care of us. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit and hope to catch Theo again! Thank you! Felicia and Ramona

A great tour for the price. Was surprised (disappointed) that we did not go into the Jurassic Park section but only rode by and took pictures from the road above. Tour guide, don't remember but his name started with a P, did a great job and had some very solid recommendations for after the tour. Happy with the cost and had a good time.

Getting started

Arrive at the Ticket Office 45 mins before your scheduled departure and check in with a valid photo ID. Meet your guide and board your custom jungle vehicle to begin the tour.

Jungle Expedition Tour

Go on a 90-min adventure across Hakipuʻu Valley, a tropical rainforest, which is famous for being the location where Jurassic World, Kong: Skull Island, and Jumanji were filmed.

What to bring

Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you’ll be comfortable in for an outdoor tour.

We recommend bringing a poncho or rain jacket in case of showers.

Carry a pair of sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen for sun protection.

Accessibility

Guests who are pregnant or who have back problems, recurring injuries, or similar conditions should not participate, as the ride can be rough.

The minimum age for this tour is 3 years old.

All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the experience.
