The driver was very nice and the dune bashing part was pretty good too, but on the other hand the rest of the experience wasn't quite as nice. The breakfast that was be included never happened, instead we got a half of a mini cup of some tea and a single date. The sand boarding part was way too short and we didn't have time to enjoy it all and felt very rushed to return to the car.

A real raw experience to remember. If you've got an afternoon to spare I encourage you to definitely go for it! There may be delays and some unexpected situations, but that's a part of the experience! :)

Morning Drive to the Desert

6am onwards

Start with a relaxing drive in an air-conditioned vehicle from your place of accommodation into the desert. While desert safaris may be more popular in the evening, you'll see a different and lesser-seen side of the Middle Eastern desert during the mornings. Let the glimmering morning sands be your ideal wake-up call on this safari.

Enjoy Desert Activities: Sandboarding and Dune Bashing

7am onwards

Once you enter the desert, you'll get plenty of opportunities to capture the beauty of the landscape at various spots. Slide down the silky soft sands during an exhilarating sandboarding session.

Head to the Campsite for Camel Riding

9am onwards

Next, drive to your desert campsite to unwind. You can go for a desert safari camel ride here and experience the sun and sand more traditionally. Sample some shisha, and sit back and sip on some delicious Emirati coffee called gahwa locally.

Get a Hassle-Free Drop-Off

Return to the city in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

Desert experience: 7am - 11am

Important Information

Reduced ticket pricing is available for this experience.

It is advised to wear lightweight clothing during summer. Bring along sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a jacket during winter.

It is recommended not to eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid any sickness during dune bashing.

Restrictions

The dune bashing experience is not suitable for: children aged 3 and under, pregnant women, wheelchair users, people with back and heart problems, and people with pre-existing medical conditions.

You will receive a confirmation email along with a mobile voucher. Please display that mobile voucher with a valid photo ID during the pickup.

If you have purchased reduced-price tickets, please carry a valid photo ID proof for verification.
