Wow and wow!! What a wonderful experience at the GEM. Ticketing and access was so easy. The magnitude of the museum and the amazing Ramses 2 statue in the the Grand Hall was a great entry into the collection. The quality of the artefacts, interpretation and staff assistance was excellent. Go early to beat the crowds and if possible, have this expedience at the end of your Egyptian travels, it'll make it even more memorable.

A fantastic experience at the Grand Egyptian Museum. Booking was simple, entry was smooth and everything worked exactly as expected. The museum itself is absolutely spectacular and well worth visiting.

Well I thought I was booking a hotel but it turned out to be you selling an entry to the museum. Then I bought another thinking I was getting another night accommodation. Lol I found your ticketing was true and honest unlike all hecklers. They are like blowflies. I wish they would ban them from the big sites. Otherwise I achieved my goals. Thank you.

I'm an egyptologist!. The Museum it is just Superb! The lights of the exhibits are stunning. The music wonderful. The pharaonic boat has a wonderful building. Today I went to visit the one in Tahrir...I know most of the pieces by heart. Well done indeed Egypt! Annalisa Malaguti

Un pac muy completo, el Gran Museo que es imprescindible y el crucero nocturno por el Nilo, un además Todo ha funcionado muy bien muy recomendable.

Additional information

To participate in the Discovery Challenge, participants must have a smartphone to play. Children under 12 years need to be accompanied by a guest above 16 years.

The Discovery Challenge takes place daily at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm, with an additional slot on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 6pm. The starting point is at the information desk in the Grand Hall.

Regular hours (except Saturday and Wednesday): The GEM Complex is open from 8:30am to 7pm, Galleries from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm.

Saturday and Wednesday: The GEM Complex operates from 8:30am to 10pm, Galleries from 9am to 9pm, with last entry at 8pm.

What to bring: Wear comfortable shoes as the museum requires extensive walking.

What’s not allowed: Large backpacks, food, and drinks are not allowed inside the museum.
