The experience at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel was really out of this world. The skip the line entry was arranged professionally by Headout and was seemless managed. Precise instructions were given to all, of the various stages of security and how to go about once inside the museum and what it holds. The guides are very well versed and have extensive knowledge of the history of the museum the significance of all the articles exhibited there and give clear guidance during the guided tour. The Vatican Museum is spread out across multiple floors and occupies a lot of space. It has huge collection of countless ancient artefacts. Holy relics, paintings, rugs painted beautifully, many religious items, regliega and all kinds of very old items of the Roman era. All these are very well preserved, well secured and meticulously maintained and well secured. The Sistine Chapel is a part of the Vatican Museum and was painstakingly painted primarily by Michelangelo Buonarroti who created its famous ceiling and the altar wall fresco. It is a awesome feeling to be within this sacred chapel and a very inspiring experience. Definitely recommend to avail the professional and reasonably priced services of a very efficient and well managed organisation, Headout for the guided tours at the Vatican Museum,Sistine Chapel and the Bascillica at St Peter’s Square.

Avevamo già provato il giorno prima ad entrare ai Musei Vaticani senza biglietto prenotato, ma abbiamo desistito dopo un pò perché la coda era troppo lunga e il caldo era insopportabile. Nel sito ufficiale dei Musei Vaticani, dopo vari tentativi, non siamo riusciti a prenotare. Guardando nel web ci siamo imbattuti in Headout e con grande facilità siamo riusciti a prenotare per l'indomani. L'hostess ci ha accompagnati all'ingresso dei Musei, fornendoci le informazioni più importanti per l'accesso. Siamo felici di aver potuto visitare i Musei, ne è valsa veramente la pena, e durante il percorso ci siamo più volte ripetuti che senza Headout non ce l'avremo mai fatta. Consiglio vivamente questa agenzia.

O kalabalık Vatikan müzesi ve Sistinye Şapeli sıraaını beklemeden hızlı giriş için harika bir seçenek oldu. Hayatımın verilmiş en doğru parası idi diyebilirim. Karekod ile hızlı biletleme ve turist officeden bir görevli eşliğinde son kapı geçişinide kadar eşlik edilerek direk kendimizi müzede bulduk. Tahminen 2-3 saat süre ve enerji kazandık. Before I have only seen them in YouTube videos, Facebook and other social medias and now I that I have visited and seen them in person, I was blown away of how detailed and beautiful they are. I loved that they preserved the all the historical paintings, statues and murals in the best condition. I absolutely agree that Michael Angelo is a genius.

La guía muy atenta, nos explicó todo antes de dejarnos en la entrada. Empezamos por el museo Gregoriano, íbamos despacio, observando todo, cuando nos dimos cuenta el tiempo que nos llevó, nos dijimos que nos teníamos que apurar porque no íbamos a alcanzar a ver todo... Estuvimos 7 horas y no llegamos a ver todo!! Es para volver 2 o 3 veces...

Honestly I picked a good time when it was not too crowded and the organisers were extremely helpful too. I was a little scared hearing everyone's stories but skip the line tickets are the best lol and everything was convenient.

No point pretending otherwise - the crowds were horrendous. Luckily, of course, we didn't have to join those huge queues for tickets ( in the.blistering sun) - that made an enormous difference to the day. Everything was still very crowded but you could weave your way through the groups with guides. I much prefer.making my own way and I'd been before which helps. It is tbe sheer volume and area of artistic historical exhibits that is so breathtaking for me. And you can never relax. Every corridor, every wall , every ceiling is full of artistic treasure. And, of course you reach The Sistine Chapel ( look out for the sneaky back staircase!)... Hundreds of people still, of course, but I was lucky enough to get a bench near the back so I could relax and take in the marvellous sight. Everybody will have their favourite (apart from the miraculous work in general of Michelangelo on the ceiling and the Last Judgement ). I always look at the Sibyls and the Prophets. The Delphic Sibyl is my favourite I think - I don't know why...Despite the heat and the crowds it is an experience I will never forget. Everybody should go at least once

Ottimo servizio, ma serve più tutela durante gli scioperi Utilizzo regolarmente questo servizio e, in generale, la mia esperienza è sempre molto positiva: i treni sono estremamente comodi, il servizio è efficiente, gli ambienti sono puliti e, soprattutto, i collegamenti sono rapidi e puntuali. Purtroppo, durante il mio ultimo viaggio si è verificata una situazione spiacevole all'arrivo in aeroporto. Avevo già acquistato in anticipo tutti i biglietti necessari per raggiungere la mia destinazione finale, ma il viaggio è coinciso con uno sciopero internazionale. Di conseguenza, non ho ottenuto alcun rimborso e sono stata costretta a passare l'intera notte in aeroporto. Mi rendo conto che questo disagio non dipende direttamente dalla compagnia, ma è un problema più ampio che riguarda il settore ferroviario a livello internazionale. Tuttavia, sarebbe fondamentale avere un'alternativa o un "piano B" in circostanze simili: ad esempio, dare la possibilità di utilizzare lo stesso biglietto per salire su autobus sostitutivi, garantendo ai passeggeri almeno il raggiungimento della stazione centrale o del terminal di riferimento.

Absolutely fantastic experience visiting the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill! The views were breathtaking, and walking through these incredible historical sites made the trip to Rome truly unforgettable. A special mention to the Headout app—it made everything so easy and convenient from start to finish. Departures are scheduled every 15 minutes throughout most of the day and are guaranteed even in the event of a strike, potentially with a replacement bus service.

One child between the age of 4-12 can travel free of cost with one paying adult.

With canine registration certificates and a proper safe carrier, you can bring your dogs, cats, or other pets free of cost.

Guard dogs are allowed on board free of cost.

There are no limitations on the number of luggage that you can bring along for the journey.

Leonardo Express trains are accessible to travelers with reduced mobility.

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

Dress Code: Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Your head, knees, and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We recommend you carry a shawl or a scarf to cover your head.

People with wheelchair disabilities get free entry. The Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire from the cloakroom.

The Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (with certified disability exceeding 74%). Additionally, in the case of visitors lacking in self-sufficiency, free entry is extended to their companions.

Certification of disability must be shown before the issue of the entrance tickets either at the Reception or at the Special Permits Desk, located in the entrance hall of the Vatican Museums.

Restrictions

Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

The tour assistants will help you enter the Vatican Museums and services will end with the ticket delivery at the entrance (lobby) of the Museums.

It is not recommended to bring strollers to the Vatican Museums as there are multiple staircases across the museum.

There is a security check at the entrance of the Vatican Museum.

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

Guests have a flexible entrance to the Palatine and Forum at any time during their selected activity date. The tickets for the Palatine and Forum will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time is selected during booking.

Child tickets are open-time and their entry depends on the Adult visiting with them.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE. Re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket.

Please note that entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

It is recommended to wear comfortable attire and walking does as there is a fair amount of walking involved.

The attractions remain closed on 25 Dec and 1 Jan.
