Thought maybe my wife and I would enjoy an hour visiting Clos aLuce Castle for a nice day trip from Orleans. In reality we ended up spending an enchanting three hours wandering the chateau, the exhibits, and the park. The designers have done a marvelous job in creating a flow through the entire property. Well worth the trip!

Chambord Castle is a work of art in itself because of its architecture. The visit is made easy thanks to a clear, spacious tour route. Plus, thanks to the RV parking, we were able to take our time and admire the castle illuminated at night.

Loved the chateau and all the rooms. It was great to see displays in so many rooms which helped make it come alive. It would have been fun to see some mention of the Chambord liquor made in the town of Chambord somewhere near the exit of the chateau

A very interesting visit, both for the castle and the gardens, but also to learn more about Leonardo da Vinci. Warm welcome, easy parking, restaurants nearby. And a big shoutout to Mathurine, fascinating!

The home is quite small compared to so many chateaux in France but this was enjoyable. My favorite- especially with all of the works and art by Leonardo de Vinci everywhere. The park was amazing. Definitely a must see!

Chambord Castle and Amboise were great; smooth visit. An iPad is provided for the tours and included in the admission price. On the other hand, at Chenonceau, the iPad costs €5 even though admission to the castle is the most expensive of all! Plus, it's hard to get around when several groups of 30 people arrive at the same time! There should be specific time slots for groups for better organization. Too bad, because this castle is interesting and the g
