However when we went to the gondola cruise the ticket no longer scanned and said it was expired. We had to call the company to sort it out. The gondola pilot told us the same thing happened last week with a group of 11 and he was still waiting to be paid. He said he would let us on anyway as he didn't want us to have a bad impression of Poland. He was a credit to his country and we left him a good tip in case he didn't get paid. At particular stops the people were rushing on and he didn't tell them to wait for the people to get off. He did not even notice.
