Last week

Buses were on time and commentary was helpful as were the guides on the bus. Good way to see a lot of the city without having to walk in a heatwave. However when we went to the gondola cruise the ticket no longer scanned and said it was expired. We had to call the company to sort it out. The gondola pilot told us the same thing happened last week with a group of 11 and he was still waiting to be paid. He said he would let us on anyway as he didn't want us to have a bad impression of Poland. He was a credit to his country and we left him a good tip in case he didn't get paid. The bus company really need to sort this as it could have spoiled our day

Very nice personel. Negative: There are no special signposts where the buses stop, no timetables. I walked all the way to bus stop Nr. 1 (Galaxy Hotel) to get hold of a flyer. In all other cities in Europe where I used hoponhopoff, tickets were sold all over the towns and there was much more advertising

We also took advantage of the additional activities and received excellent directions from the bus drivers on how to reach our destinations. The audio guide was sometimes a bit slow with the explanations. Excellent choice

The staff on board is very friendly. Bus comes punctual. The start time in the morning is too late though: first passing at the stop near our hotel only at 11:30! Half the day is already gone by than...

The app took a lot to work out. The driver on the first bus we took was nice,the 'host' was lazy and barely spoke to us, did not get out of his seat. At particular stops the people were rushing on and he didn't tell them to wait for the people to get off. He did not even notice. The second bus we took was a young lady and she was welcoming and friendly. We were only on that bus for a couple of stops.
