Your day begins with a convenient pick up from your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City, or you make your way to the meetup point to join your tour group. Next, enjoy a comfortable 2-hour drive to Tay Ninh, Vietnam’s largest city. Disembark at your first stop, the Cao Dai Temple. Located just outside Tay Ninh, this sacred temple is the center of the intriguing Cao Dai religion. Attend the midday ceremony, and see monks moving about the temple, clad in colorful robes and humming chants.

Break for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing onwards to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Built by the Viet Cong, this network of tunnels stretches for over 200km. Discover the role of the tunnels in the Vietnam-American war, and how they were used to combat the American military effort. Explore the many war bunkers, weapon stores, trap doors and storage units while you’re here! If you’re up for it, you can even sample some of the popular dishes that the guerrilla fighters used to eat (at your own expense).
