Absolutely wild in a good way—this trip was amazing from the very beginning to the last moment. The team organizing things made everything run without a hitch. Cody, our guide, kept things upbeat and made sure everyone was comfortable. He was always available and shared loads of interesting info about the bay that really added to what we were seeing. I honestly can’t think of anything that needed fixing; it was all great. Would absolutely recommend going, especially if you get Cody as your guide.

We had a super chill cruise, felt relaxed the whole time. Having a smaller group to hang out with made the activities even better. The transfers to each spot were organized well and I always felt safe. Meals were amazing and there was plenty for everyone. Lots of options for picky eaters too. Staff were happy to help out whenever needed. Victor was really friendly, answered all my questions and his English was easy to follow. Loved every bit of it.

Spent two days and a night on the cruise, and our guide Hung (also called Kevin) really stood out—super nice guy, really knew his stuff, and made everyone feel welcome wherever we went. We did things like kayaking, swimming, plus a cooking demo, and he checked in on us a lot and answered whatever questions we threw at him. Really had a great time, and I'd say if you can get Hung as your guide, you’re in good hands.

Had a fun time overall. Everything ran smoothly and meals were so good. There were some really memorable activities. We felt it was a solid deal for what was included. Couple things could be fixed though—our shower was kind of falling apart and the door barely worked, and when I got stung by a jellyfish, it seemed like the first aid kit and staff’s know-how could use a bit of an upgrade.

The overnight Halong Bay trip was totally worth doing! I was super happy with the food, and the staff was fantastic the whole time. Our tour leader made sure people felt safe and at ease. All in all, it’s a trip I’ll remember, and I’m glad I picked the 2-day option. But honestly, if you’re short on time, even a day cruise would show you the best of Halong Bay.
