    Ancient Temples and the Streets of Gion

    Arrive at Kennin-ji, one of Kyoto's 5 most significant Zen temples, built in 1202. After you spend some calming time in the temple's lush gardens, move on to the home of the Geishas, the entertainment district of Gion, with its wooden buildings and quaint teahouses.

    1:25pm: Arrive at Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo | 1:40pm: Leave for Kennin-ji Temple (60 mins) | Visit to Gion | Tea ceremony experience (40 mins) | Nishiki Market (20 mins) | 5pm to 5:30pm: End of tour
