Croisière fluviale d'une journée complète dans la vallée du Douro avec repas et navettes aller-retour

The day started very early. It was a great idea to add the transfer from the hotel to the pier. Quick, comfortable and they even took the suitcases because we stayed at Pinhao and that's why Living Tours gave us a discount when we contacted in the chat. At the beginning, I confess that we were sleepy because we arrived the night before. But the ascension of the first dam made the adrenaline to skyrocket. Wonderful and scary! Impressive engineering works. The day was very good and sunny, so we were (me, my sister and my mother) some time on the deck, but then the sun got really strong and we decided to go back inside the boat, which is very spacious and comfortable. Shortly after lunch was served. We are vegetarian and Living Tours managed to provide us with a vegetarian lunch. The boat staff was very friendly and almost everyone spoke English so communication was easy. We arrived at Pinhao after passing more impressive dams and the beautiful landscapes of the Douro and the crew even helped us get the suitcases of the boat and into the taxi! Thank you very much :)

Beautiful landscapes, wonderful food and lots of drinks and a good mood on board. The only downfall is that the return is no longer by train pinhao porto. Still, it is well worth it because I think the most beautiful landscapes in the Douro Valley are from Regua to Pinhao.

This cruise was great. We took the 11 hours, breakfast included, great lunch plenty of food and a bottle of wine per couple, included a tour in a vineyard with wine tasting. A bus brought us back to Porto right to the center, it was A Great Experience!

Living Tours was great....our shuttle from and to the boat was very good.The driver was prompt and efficient. The boat ride itself was amazing, an experience my wife and I will always remember. And the bus back to Porto was ok. Very little time at the winery, but that was expected. The meals on the boat were average, but with such a large group expected....like airplane food. The major problem was the audio on the boat. Very difficult to hear the descriptions when you sit outside. Also at the beginning of the second leg of the trip, from Regua to Pinhao, they played some awful pop music that in my opinion spoiled the beauty of the moment. It even interfered with announcement! Not even Portuguese music. Finally the request that travelers wear a mask was ignored by a small number of people. Monitoring is impossible, I know, but what happens to the credibility of the companies involved if there is an outbreak. Hopefully, this will all end soon!!

The porto pinhao boat cruise was fantastic. From the fascinating ascension of the dams to the attention of the escorts from the moment of reception at the beautiful Sao Bento train station with its thousands of hand-painted tiles to the landing in Pinhao. Everything was perfect. Amazing vineyard landscapes that really deserve the Unesco world heritage title.
