Rovaniemi: Short Husky Ride & Farm Visit

Meet energetic huskies at a local farm and enjoy an 800m husky ride with transfers, intro, and refreshments included.

If you have chosen the pick-up service, pick-up from your accommodation within a 10km radius of Rovaniemi city center starts about 20 minutes before departure. Otherwise, you can arrive directly at the Lapland Royal Adventures office at Maakuntakatu 31, where you will join the transfer. From the office, transportation to the husky farm and back takes approximately 20 minutes each way.

Husky farm visit

At the husky farm you spend time getting to know the dogs and their environment before and after the ride.

Features:

• Introduction to the huskies gives you time to meet the dogs, learn about their behavior, and observe how they are prepared for running in typical Arctic winter conditions from January to December. No prior experience is needed and the difficulty is easy.

• An 800m Husky Ride lets you sit back and feel the sled glide over the snow while the team runs the loop, with an expert English-speaking guide present to support and answer questions during the activity.

• Hot drinks and cookies are served at the farm so you can warm up, and overalls, boots, and gloves are provided to help you stay comfortable in cold weather.

• Pick up from your accommodation within 10km radius and transportation from office to husky farm and back are included and for pick-up addresses more than 11km from the office, a transportation fee of €50 per direction applies.
