It was a queue-free experience, in spite of the large audience, and I really enjoyed the 15/20' presentations by the guides, who were very professional and interesting, and very useful to have the basic information about the exhibition.

The building by Gehry. Also the modern and contemporary works of art. The cafe was awesome too. Tickets were very straight forward and we received and used them easily.

Truly beautiful experience with one of the best exhibitions I've seen in the last years. Congratulations
  • Explore Matisse's Red Studio

Henri Matisse (1869–1954) was a pioneering figure in modern art, celebrated for his bold use of color, innovative techniques, and diverse body of work. His art inspired and paved the way for subsequent generations of artists, including the Abstract Expressionists and Color Field painters.

With this ticket, experience firsthand the greatness of Matisse at Fondation Louis Vuitton, open from May 7 to September 9, 2024. Here, you'll encounter the iconic Red Studio alongside 6 paintings, 3 sculptures, and 1 ceramic. Rediscover iconic pieces like Young Sailor (II), making its triumphant return to France after an absence of over three decades. Delight in the revelation of lesser-known gems like Corsica, The Old Mill (1898), shedding new light on Matisse's early brilliance. And don't forget to catch a fascinating film revealing the secrets behind Matisse's iconic works before you leave.

A visual treat to the eyes

In addition, the exhibition showcases a range of works associated with the painting, complemented by numerous photographs and archival documents. These pieces narrate the painting's context, tracing its journey from inception to its acquisition by MoMA, and its profound impact on modern art and influential figures like Mark Rothko and Ellsworth Kelly. Marvel at how the Fondation's exhibition emphasizes the dialogue between The Red Studio of 1911 and the Large Red Interior of 1948.

Upgrade to include shuttle service to your tickets. With access to shuttles plying every 20 minutes to the gallery and the Gaulle Etoile Station, make your visit hassle-free.
