User-friendly website An interesting, well-organized interactive tour. A nice cocktail and a high-quality tasting It's a shame that the production facility with the stills isn't open to the public.

My 1st brother-in-law is of Irish descent and talked about his nurse grandmother who immigrated to the U.S. knowing that her chances of returning to Ireland were poor, and of his father who saw signs posted at businesses saying " Irish Need Not Apply." During my 1st visit to Ireland, I wanted to learn more about the history, culture, and diaspora of the Irish people from their point of view. The museum did not dissapoint. From the stacks of trunks and suitcases the immigrants carried of which the visitor could only imagine its precious cargo inside, to the multi-sensory exhibit to help envisign what the Irish missed: the smells and sights, feelings of touch and sound which are personal and familiar to everyone. The remainder of the exhibit was rich with Irish culture and history. It was well organized and easy to follow. My opinion is that no visit to Ireland is complete without visiting this wonderful museum. Bonus: Great location. easy to find, and eateries in the sahred mall from which to choose from.

I went with my nephew and niece-in-law, who both are deeply interested in Irish history. We all found the narrative flow to be impeccable and informative -- we all learned something new. The final section on the Irish language was especially inspiring.

EPIC is one of the finest exhibition I have visited. I brought my grand daughters aged 19 and 17. We interacted with all the exhibits. Laughed and cried along the way. Shared stories as we went. The smells were evocative. The video at one point felt like the news reel of the backdrop of my life. We spent 4 hours there and came away so proud to be Irish🇨🇮 Amazing experience.

Tour guide was very informative, helpful and funny. Perfect for what was wanted. And when you start with a glass before the tour, it's part of your ticket, these people know what they are doing to let you have a relaxing time when you can learn too if you want. I'd take this again, even without the whiskey!
