This was an amazing exhibit filled with exceptional pieces of jewelry, amazing sarcophogi, beautiful stone figures, and so much more. The descriptions of the artefacts were very informative plus the 2 videos with further explanations were enjoyable to watch. I'd recommend this exhibit to everyone who loves anything Egyptian!

The whole exhibition was amazing. The artefacts were very well set out with associated information. The film sequences throughout further enhanced the exhibition. Would thoroughly recommend.

It was very hard to find the exhibition from Battersea Tube Station . We tried to follow the gold footprints stuck on the ground but they ended inside the shopping centre . The exhibition was better than expected .

Well presented and interesting while not what I would class as amazing. The audio numbers were a bit hard to spot . Great if you havent seen Egyptiam antiquities before

Encounter 180 original Egyptian treasures, including the coffin of Ramses II, at Battersea Power Station in a 60–75 minute exhibition.

Getting started

Arrive at NEON, Battersea Power Station, and present your ticket near the main entrance for validation. After a brief security check, you’ll enter the exhibition space and can begin exploring at your own pace.

Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold: The Exhibition

This major international exhibition brings over 180 priceless artefacts from Egypt’s golden age to London, many on display for the first time in the UK. Explore the reign, legacy, and vision of Ramses II through original objects, immersive environments, and dynamic storytelling.

Features:

Coffin of Ramses II: See the intricately decorated coffin of Egypt’s longest-reigning pharaoh, presented as Osiris, complete with royal sceptres and the iconic nemes headdress.

Limestone colossus: Marvel at a monumental statue of Ramses II, shown holding a mekes and wearing the traditional striped headdress reserved for kings.

Mask of King Amenemope: Examine a gold funerary mask adorned with lapis lazuli and carnelian, showcasing the craftsmanship of ancient royal workshops.

Funerary mask of General Wendjebauendjed: View a gold mask with glass-inlaid eyes, designed to preserve the general’s idealised portrait for eternity.

Battle of Kadesh animation: Experience a virtual depiction of one of ancient history’s largest battles, highlighting Ramses II’s military prowess and diplomacy.

Immersive environments: Walk through recreated temple scenes, royal tombs, and galleries filled with animal mummies, jewellery, and colossal carvings.

Have your ID and entry tickets ready for a seamless experience.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the exhibition and cannot be left with Box Office staff.

Pushchairs are not allowed within the exhibition but can be held at the venue.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed on this exhibition.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Full transcripts, large-print guides, and hearing aid streaming devices are available.

The Virtual Reality (VR) experience and audio guides are not included and must be purchased separately.

The exhibition is recommended for visitors aged 5 and older; the VR experience is recommended for ages 8+.
