Purchased tickets online through Headout which made it really easy to enter the museum. I enjoyed the visit and in particular the way the exhibition was arranged and grouped in chronological order.

The Picasso Museum in Malaga, where the artist was born, is an excellent place to get a thorough understanding of the his life and works. The collection was given by his descendants, so it includes some fine examples of his earliest works. In fact, the museum shows paintings, drawings, and sculptures from all throughout his life. It is easy to get a sense of all his varied styles and developments. I highly recommend the audio guide, which is simple to download and use on your phone from a QR code - just be sure to use earphones so as not to disturb other visitors. The museum is inside the beautiful Palacio de Buenavista, a 16th-century Renaissance palace in the city’s historic centre, which was restored and adapted for the museum. Also, the five galleries are easily manageable in one to two hours. A great experience for both novice and those well-versed in Picasso's art.

This is a great exhibition to find out about the personal and political life of one of the most famous artists in the world. It is exciting to see Picasso's drawings and sketches alongside stories of how he tried to save the lives of numerous Second World War resistance fighters who fought so bravely against naziism. Additionally, it is touching to look at how Picasso spent the first nine or ten years of his life and how immediately he displayed his artistic ability under the tutelage of his father who was also a very gifted painter. Picasso was obviously a much loved child who only survived his birth because of Uncle Salvador who blew cigar smoke on him which kickstarted his breathing. What a great afternoon we enjoyed absorbing every part of this fascinating exhibition. Piease don't miss it if you visit Malaga.

This visit of the natal house of Pablo Picasso was on my to do list. I had visited museums of his artwork before but I wanted to learn more about the childhood and the man behind the painter. In this house I felt the soul of the family and in particular of Pablo Picasso. So, I was excited and it was an enrichement to have learned more about this worldwide famous painter who got his roots in the beautiful city of Málaga.

Our visit to the Picasso museum was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Malaga! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing works throughout his life and how his style changed over time. The differnt galleries not only showed his different periods but also the different mediums he used. The visit really taught me what an incredibly talented and creative artist he was! Highly recommend a visit!

Our visit to the Picasso Museum in Malaga was amazing. The exhibition is set out clearly and we loved the time line of Picasso's life. Integrating his personal life with his paintings gave us a better understanding of his art. We booked early and didn't feel overwhelmed with crowds of people, so this was a stand out exhibition. Enjoyable from start to end. Great work all round!

Entry with earlier reservation without problems, although you have to wait for a moment in a queue. The exhibition itself interesting but somewhat disapointing, I thought it will be a little bit richer. The less known, more realistic Picasso works are worth seeing.
