Great afternoon out on the Kaisar Wilhelm, a fast catamaran. The outward trip to Geiranger was interesting with recorded commentary highlighting some of the fjords history and telling the stories behind some of the spectacular waterfalls. The 2hr stop in Geiranger was a little too long for us - the place was very busy with tourists (like us). The return trip was fast and exilerating standing on the foredeck.

The Geiranger fjord is marvelous. We had almost a private tour (because of the season) and could ask our guide everyo we wanted to know. Unfortunately the Seven Sisters were not all activated because there was still snow high in the cliffs that was not melting yet. We stayed in Geiranger for 2,5 hours. Had time for something to eat and climbed to the highest point of the waterfall. It was cold but dry and we enjoyed our time and trip very much. I could'nt have a better Mothers Day in my life.

Set sail on a round-trip sightseeing cruise from Hellesylt to the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord, with a scenic return journey included.

Guided commentary in English and a 14-language audio guide bring the fjord’s rich history to life as you cruise.

Pause for a 2.5-hour stop in Geiranger village—wander at your own pace and soak up the fjord’s charm.

Cruise past dramatic cliffs and iconic waterfalls like the “Seven Sisters” and “The Suitor,” camera at the ready.

Savor a taste of pure waterfall water, collected fresh from the majestic Friaren Waterfall during your journey.

The encounters with people... real or imaginary. The taste of the waterfall and of the fairy tales. The color of the sky... blue or gray.
