To be completely honest I wasn't really expecting too much, but the last day of my daughters 3 week visit and the chance to hide for a while from the summer heat inside the aquarium game across and a good idea. Were give directions by reception staff on arrival and started our tour. It was fantastic worth every dirham of the entrance fee. An amazing variety of not only fist but snakes, lizards, birds, otters to name a few it was breathtaking. Very relaxing walking at our own pace and really soaking in the environment. Then the visit to the area where they look after turtles that have been caught in fishing next or fishing line and then released back to the wild. These people do a great job and it well worth a visit I'm sure you will not be disappointed

We had an amazing time at The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. The layout is beautiful, and the variety of marine life is staggering, walking through the underwater glass tunnel were major highlights. The exhibits are incredibly clean, well-maintained, and highly educational. It’s the perfect escape from the heat and fantastic for all ages, it’s a must-visit when in Abu Dhabi!

With the All Access Pass, you'll enjoy entry to the National Aquarium, as well as special access to the Glass Bridge Walk, the Glass Bottom Boat Tour, and a guided behind-the-scenes tour. Wondering what you get to see? Be mesmerized as you walk through the largest tunnel in the Middle East and admire the ecosystem from the rainforest habitat to the coral reef. The National Aquarium is home to hammerhead sharks and bull sharks and it is the only place you will find them in the whole of UAE. You will also be able to see what is considered the biggest known living snake in the world: Super Snake - a seven-meter reticulated python. The aquarium provides live experiences, community engagement, and preservation of the local biodiversity.

Getting There

By bus

The closest bus stop is Khaleej Al Arabi St / Bus Interchange. It is a quick 4-minute walk to the attraction.

Board buses #21, #22, #101, and more to get you there.

It takes less than 30 minutes to reach Al Qana from Downtown Abu Dhabi. If you’re coming by bus, take route #56 which passes through the Al Maqta region.
