The Headout appappeared when I was trying to book. It was easy to use, book and pay. Booking was confirmed immediately and all necessary details for our your to the Irish Rock Museum. The tour was amazing with tour guide, Kevin. At one stage, Kevin invited any participants who played instruments to have a go. One visitor played the drums and Kevin played bass. It was special. The tour has so much to show and tell, yet it is relaxed, unhurried and very informative. I took an American visitor. She loved it and rated it 'amazing'

The tour guide was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and welcoming . He brought the exhibits to life with his anecdotes and snippets of additional background information delivered in the manner of a conspiratorial confidant . He is reportedly a musician himself and we could definitely picture this. He was very adept in involving us all and including audience participation. Would highly recommend .

The Irish Rock and Roll Museum is a relatively small attraction with a lot of content tucked in. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the musicians and memorabilia in the collection. The museum is focused on three artists and mentions several others. More attention could be given some of the lesser known and up and coming artists.

Sterling was a great tour guide, is very knowledgeable about the exhibits especially Rory Gallagher and U2. The guitars and memorabilia belonging to Phil Lynott were really interesting.

Nous avons réservé la visite guidée en français et le guide maîtrise très bien la langue tout comme il maitrise la culture de ce musée. Il y a mis son enthousiasme et ses connaissances. Ce musée est très intéressant par ses objets (instruments de musique, costumes,...), ses photographies et ses espaces. Merci pour cette visite en langue française. Céline

On the visit we learned much about the history of Irish Rock n' Roll and we saw many legendary instruments like guitars and drums. But in these rooms you can feel the atmosphere of the production of Rock n' Roll music over the last decade of years. This was an amazing experience.

Temple Lane rehearsal studios: Step into the Temple Lane rehearsal studios, a functioning music venue and recording space where many Irish artists have practised and recorded. This behind-the-scenes access offers a look at the creative process in a real studio environment.

The Jam Room: Enter the Jam Room, an iconic rehearsal space where you have the opportunity to play instruments and experience what it’s like to be part of a band session.

Themed artist rooms: Visit themed rooms dedicated to legendary Irish acts, including the U2 Room and Thin Lizzy Room. These spaces showcase the evolution of Irish rock through displays of rare guitars, stage costumes, and handwritten lyrics.

Wall of Fame & Apollo Studio: Explore the Wall of Fame and Apollo Studio, featuring framed vinyl collections, exclusive photos, and personal artefacts such as Rory Gallagher Corner, Michael Jackson’s pyjamas, Phil Lynott’s guitars and jukebox, and a school report card.

Museum cinema: Watch an exclusive film in the museum cinema, providing context and stories behind Ireland’s most influential musicians and bands.

Interactive exhibits: Interact with exhibits that highlight the personal mementoes and achievements of Irish rock legends, offering a hands-on experience throughout your visit.

Multilingual guided commentary: Your guide provides commentary in English or French (depending on the option selected), sharing insights into the history, significance, and stories behind each section of the museum.

What’s not allowed

The Irish Rock 'N' Roll Museum Experience is not suitable for children under the age of 5. Recommended visitor age for children is 7 years old and over.

Being under the influence of alcohol or narcotics and engaging in inappropriate behaviour is strictly forbidden. Management reserves the right to refuse admission and remove customers at its discretion.
