Your guide outlines the route and what you will cover during this guided experience.

What to expect

Inflexión Memorial Park

Inflexión Memorial Park stands on the former site of the Monaco Building, once closely associated with Pablo Escobar. It is now a public space that focuses on memory and reflection around the city's past.

Features

• At this stop, you see the transformation of the former Monaco Building site into Inflexión Memorial Park, a place that highlights how Medellín addresses the history behind the story and Escobar's legacy.
• Your expert, professional local guide explains the park's context within neighborhoods and public works linked to Escobar's influence in Medellín, helping you understand why this location is central to the tour.
• Shared transportation during the experience brings you directly to the park, and you can choose to have one national local brew or bottled water provided during the tour.

Montesacro Cemetery

Montesacro Cemetery is the burial place of Pablo Escobar and other key figures connected to his story. This stop focuses on how Medellín remembers those events today.

Features

• You walk through the cemetery to the area where Pablo Escobar and other key figures are buried, observing how visitors and locals engage with this part of the city's history.
• Commentary from your expert guide covers the broader story of Escobar's life and legacy, tying what you see at Montesacro Cemetery to other important locations visited on the tour.
• Travel between Inflexión Memorial Park and Montesacro Cemetery is included as part of the shared transportation during the experience, so all main sites are covered in one route.

Escobar museum

The tour concludes outside the Escobar museum, also referred to as the Escobar family museum. This location brings together memorabilia and narratives connected to Escobar's story, with entry handled separately.

Features

• You finish the guided route at the Escobar museum, where your guide provides context on what the collection represents and how it relates to the earlier stops at Inflexión Memorial Park and Montesacro Cemetery.
• Time here is focused on understanding how the museum fits into Medellín's ongoing conversation about its past; your guide indicates that entry to the Escobar family museum is not included in the tour.
• Shared transportation returns you from the main locations connected to Pablo Escobar's history, and during the experience, you have access to one national local brew or bottled water as part of the inclusions.
