The Grand Canyon was incredible to visit with my family last summer, especially since we got to see every viewpoint—each one had a different angle and the scenery was stunning. Taking a helicopter ride the following day was a first for me, and I was buzzing with excitement. Even though wildfires blocked some of the views and we received part of our money back because of that, being up in the air was still really cool. The pilot kept things light and professional which made it more fun. Also, arriving at a set time meant we skipped any waiting, which I liked. Only thing I’d change is the extra charge for photos—that was a bit annoying. Despite that, I totally enjoyed the whole experience and would tell others to try it out.

Smoke from some fires made it tough to see everything, so we got some of our money back, but the flight was still awesome. The pilot kept things light and professional, which helped, and I liked that there was no waiting around because we’d booked a set time. Only thing I’d change is charging extra for the photos. Otherwise, the whole thing was a blast, would definitely suggest giving it a go.

My husband and I booked the Wind Dancer Sunset tour for our anniversary and honestly... WOW. The helicopter ride itself felt smoother than I expected and the views? Next-level. Our pilot (shoutout to Sam!) pointed out all these cool details about Hoover Dam and the Strip, and when we landed in the Grand Canyon, there were snacks and bubbly waiting. I did feel a bit queasy at first (I get motion sick sometimes) but bringing ginger chews totally helped. The sunset was UNREAL, all orange and purple. Only tiny downside, we got paired with another couple so it wasn’t suuuper private, but def worth it. Pro tip: bring a light jacket, it gets breezy up there.

We spent about an hour looking up all the tour options for helicopter rides in Vegas, and this one kept showing up as the top pick. Turned out to be the right call and ended up being the highlight of our trip. Our pilot, Neil, was fantastic and our group got along well. We took turns up front so everyone experienced the best seats, and even though I was a bit anxious at first, after the first few minutes it was clear we were in good hands. I’d say if you want to see the Grand Canyon up close—and actually land down there with some Champagne and snacks—this tour is the way to go.
