Zanzibar Private Airport and Hotel-to-Hotel Transfers

Zanzibar private transfers link ZNZ Airport and all island resorts in a one-way, round-trip, or inter-hotel private service.

Getting started

After booking, select whether you need a one-way private transfer between ZNZ Airport and your hotel, round-trip private transfers, or a private inter-hotel transfer across Zanzibar island zones. On the day, go to your chosen pickup point, where your professional, licensed local Zanzibari driver will identify you using a personalized nameplate meet-and-greet service before helping you to the vehicle.

What to expect

Zanzibar Airport and islandwide connections

This service connects ZNZ Airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3 with resorts across the island, including Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Kiwengwa, Matemwe, Paje, Jambiani, Michamvi, and Kizimkazi. Your transfer runs on a private basis so you travel directly along your booked route without unscheduled intermediate sightseeing stops.

Features

• Travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle, with clean, modern sedans, minivans, or microbuses used to serve different travel party sizes and routes across the island zones listed. Chilled bottled mineral water is provided in the vehicle so you can rehydrate while you ride from the airport to the coast or between beach areas such as Nungwi and Paje.
• Ride with a professional, licensed local Zanzibari driver who handles all vehicle fuel, road tolls, parking fees, and airport entrance charges so there is no need to manage local payments en route. Luggage loading and unloading assistance is included, although porterage fees inside airport terminals or hotel rooms remain at your own expense.
• For airport arrivals, real-time flight tracking for all arrival bookings lets the team adjust to delays so your driver meets you after you land. There is 1 hour of free waiting time for airport arrival pickups from the actual flight landing time, after which any extra waiting would be payable locally if required.
• At pickup, benefit from a personalized nameplate meet-and-greet service at the terminal arrival exit or hotel lobby, which makes it straightforward to identify your driver in busy areas. Driver gratuities are not included, so tipping is at your discretion if you appreciate the service.
• Choose the service format that matches your plans: a one-way private transfer, Zanzibar Airport to hotel or hotel to Zanzibar Airport as per option selected; round-trip private transfers between Zanzibar Airport and your hotel as per option selected; or a private inter-hotel transfer across Zanzibar island zones as per option selected, useful when relocating between areas such as Stone Town, Kendwa, and Kizimkazi.
