Unsere Freundesgruppe hatte DEN BESTEN Tag in Tulum und an der Cenote Nohoch. Die Ruinen sind in echt noch viel cooler (Fotos werden dem Ganzen überhaupt nicht gerecht). Unser Reiseleiter Jorge hat uns ständig zum Lachen gebracht und es irgendwie geschafft, all das alte Steingeschwätz tatsächlich interessant zu machen. Es war sonnig und HEISS, daher war der Sprung in die Cenote danach eine echte RETTUNG. Das Wasser ist superklar, aber anfangs etwas kühl – es lohnt sich aber trotzdem. Das Mittagessen war viel besser als erwartet, es gab jede Menge vegetarische Optionen für meine Freundin. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Ich wünschte, wir hätten mehr Zeit für Fotos bei den Ruinen gehabt, es fühlte sich etwas gehetzt an. Trotzdem: 10 von 10 Punkten, ich würde sofort wieder hingehen.

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe mich überhaupt nicht unwohl gefühlt. Der Reiseleiter hat alle mit einbezogen und war total entspannt. Die Ruinen von Tulum sind atemberaubend, besonders mit diesem Meerblick – wie auf einer Postkarte. Das Schwimmen in der Cenote war erfrischend, aber es wurde schnell voll, also versucht, als Erste hineinzugehen, wenn ihr könnt. Nehmt ein Handtuch mit (ich habe meins vergessen, ups). Das Essen war lecker, aber die Getränke kosten extra, nur zur Vorwarnung.

Ich habe meine Teenager mitgenommen, und sie waren überraschenderweise total begeistert von der ganzen Sache. Die Ruinen von Tulum: uralt, geheimnisvoll und ehrlich gesagt schöner, als ich gedacht hatte. Der Reiseleiter erzählte uns, dass es überall Leguane gibt – wir haben mindestens 12 gezählt! Die Cenote war das Highlight für die Kinder. Sie wollten gar nicht mehr raus! Als wir dort waren (Anfang Mai), war es nicht allzu voll, und das Buffet bot ein fantastisches Guacamole-Buffet. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall für Familien empfehlen.

Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind toll, aber die Tour wirkte etwas gehetzt. In Tulum hatten wir nur etwa eine Stunde Zeit, bevor es weiterging. Die Cenote ist schön, aber ziemlich überlaufen, und die Umkleidekabinen sind winzig. Das Mittagessen war durchschnittlich. Einmal sehenswert, aber kein entspannter Tagesausflug.

Tulum war wunderschön, besonders früh am Morgen, bevor die Menschenmassen eintrafen. Unser Reiseleiter war sehr kompetent, sprach aber etwas zu schnell, sodass man ihm manchmal nur schwer folgen konnte. Das Schwimmen in Nohoch war magisch, wie in einer anderen Welt. Nehmt unbedingt Insektenspray für den Cenote-Bereich mit, glaubt mir!

• If you are staying in Tulum, pickup is from a meeting point rather than hotel pickup.
