Oslo: Abendliche Bootsfahrt auf dem Fjord mit Shrimp Buffet

Went with my cousin for a birthday adventure on the Oslofjord cruise and honestly it was soooo chill. We grabbed seats up top (get there early if ur picky about views) and just watched the water and clouds roll by. Crew were SMILING the whole time, super friendly, and they explained the shrimp dinner thing well (def messy, but they give you napkins). Shrimp were cold & fresh, not much else to eat, but we came for the EPIC views anyway. Only downside was a group that got kinda loud near the end, but nothing too wild. If you want a relaxing evening, just do it.

Lovely cruise around the fjord with my wife. Views were BEAUTIFUL, especially when the sun started to set. The shrimp dinner was tasty but a bit basic—just bread, butter, shrimp, and lettuce. Not a feast but did the job. Staff were nice and kept checking if we needed drinks. Bit crowded and had to wait to get a seat together but otherwise really pleasant evening.

Took my mom for her bday and it was super sweet. Got there late so only indoor seats left, still could see the fjord but not as cool as outside. Shrimp were good, bread was just ok. Wish there was more food variety tbh. Staff brought us extra napkins and even sang a little birthday song. Really nice touch.

Wasn’t sure about a shrimp cruise but my girlfriend convinced me. Glad she did—the weather was perfect, we sat outside with blankets (they hand them out, so cozy). Shrimp were fresh, not much else except bread but I guess that’s the style. Views are insane. Saw a seal! Would totally recommend for couples.

Booked this for our first night in Oslo and honestly it set the tone for the trip. The fjord is GORGEOUS at sunset, and the shrimp dinner was a quirky experience (watch out for flying bits as you peel). The bar had decent beer selection. Staff were friendly, helped us find seats together even though it was packed. Would go again.
