In this musical, which is finally making its way to the UK after ten years of a successful Broadway run, we meet Joseph Pulitzer (publisher of the New York World) maliciously revelling in his "brilliant" scheme to maximize profits by raising newsies’ paper prices. This plan slightly misrepresents history as it was actually due to an unexpected rise in circulation from the Spanish-American War that enabled sellers and publishers alike. This production of Newsies is one of the top 3 shows I've ever seen. The theater/staging was completely immersive and original. The talent was A+++++ and delivered every second. We loved this show already but this one raised the bar!

I really like the musical! The music and the story were really good, but what was especially amazing was the choreography! It was really something different from other musicals I have seen and it was really good. Also the people at the bar and the merchandise stand were very friendly :)

I would put Newsies up there as one of the best shows that I have seen! Lovely theatre with the audience sitting on three sides, very clever stage use and phenominal dancing.

We were just in London my boyfriend, and I for three days and I really wanted to go to watch a musical. Because it was last minute everything else was super expensive especially if you wanted a good seat. I did read the reviews and they were really good. But really good was actually an understatement. What we experience was excellent and even my boyfriend who is usually not impressed by much was Amazed by the dancing skills, and the vocals of all actors and dancers. If you find yourself in London, do yourself a favor and get on the train to the theater.
