Getting started

If you are staying in Protaras or Pernera, your day begins with hotel pickup and drop-off included for this experience. You travel by 4WD transportation to Green Bay, where you check in and meet your private guide, available in English, French, Spanish or Dutch. Before entering the water, you receive a welcome drink and are introduced to the basic flow of your discovery dive.

What to expect

This is a private discovery dive in Green Bay designed for complete beginners who are comfortable in the water, with all necessary equipment provided and no prior scuba experience required.

Features

• Before getting into the sea, your instructor gives a complete briefing about the equipment and dive, explaining how the wetsuits, regulator and other gear work so you know what to expect underwater.

• You start in shallow water with safety exercises in shallow water that let you practice simple skills under close supervision before moving to deeper areas.

• Once you are confident, the guided exploration of the dive site begins, with a private guide in English, French, Spanish or Dutch staying by your side as you explore Green Bay at a relaxed pace.

• For comfort in the water, wetsuits for the dive are provided as part of the experience, with all scuba equipment included.

• During the exploration part of the dive, your guide captures photos and videos of the experience so you can focus on the underwater scenery while still having a record of your first dive.
