Oplevelsen var enestående, hvad angår Quinta da Regaleira, den smukke del af haven, der skal opdages, med hulerne som prikken over i'et og den eventyrlige atmosfære. På den anden side var besøget i Pena-paladset mindre smukt. Paladset er meget smukt at fotografere udefra, men jeg kunne ikke lide den måde, besøget indenfor er organiseret på: Det er en evig og uendelig kø for at se to rum, og man kan ikke se dem ordentligt, fordi man er nødt til at blive ved med at gå, fordi der er så mange mennesker.

What to bring
Quinta da Regaleira
- During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.
- For the audio guided tours, bring your own headphones and ensure that your smartphone is fully charged.
- Download your ticket and audio guide (if opted) on your smartphone prior to your visit to fully enjoy it.
- It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.
Pena Palace
- An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required to access the audio guide. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 6 or older, iPod Touch 6th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Air 1st generation, iPad Mini 3rd generation or older.
What's not allowed
- Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.
Pena Palace
- Access to this monument is not authorized to private vehicles. We recommended the use of pedestrian trails or public transportation.
Quinta da Regaleira
- Keep in mind drones are not allowed in this experience. Pack wisely!
- Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography and tripods are a no-go inside the venue.
- Suitcases, trolleys, and bag packs are not allowed inside the venue.

Pena Palace
- Note that you must enter Pena Palace (not the gate, but the Palace) at the time slot assigned to you, or you may not be able to access the venue.
- The Pena Palace is partially closed for restoration work. Read this to plan your visit better
- Please note that Pena Park will be temporarily closed from 25th to 28th March
- Please note that you will have to enter from the house tour entrance and not the main gate.
- While the Pena Palace complex includes both the palace and gardens, there's still a short walk to the palace itself from the main entrance. The path is paved, climbs a bit, and can take 30 minutes.
- There is an expected wait time of 15-20 mins at the entrance/security to scan the ticket.
- You can park your car in the historic center of Sintra or the peripheral car parks available.
- There are parking lots at the park entrance but may be limited depending on the number of visitors.
- If the transport option is selected, the transfers included for this experience are between the main entrance of the Park and the Palace. A shuttle is available every 15 minutes.
- Reduced price tickets for children aged 6-18 and seniors aged 65+ are available onsite.
