Grazie ad headout sono riuscita a visitare San Marco senza file e con una guida molto preparata, chiara e disponibile. Tutto era perfettamente organizzato e la guida è durata il tempo giusto per avere tutte le informazioni senza avere cali di attenzione. Esperienza che sicuramente rifarei e che consiglio.

We loved the tour of St Marks even though it was only 30 minutes. The gal was great and full of information. The self tour in Doge palace was good also.

La visite et les renseignements étaient très bien. Beaucoup d'info. Par contre en période de réparation intérieure et quelques fois bruit légerement trop fort. Beaucoup d'histoire et de détails sur les fresque. Par contre on cmprend mieux le shisme entre l'Église catholique Romaine et l'Église de Constantinople. La luminosité iintérieure (pour nous vers les 11 hres) était limitée. Tour a faire plus tard en pm re : position du soleil ??

It was very organized into smaller groups and thE piazza was very crowded , so it was a smooth trasition on a very chaotic plaza. The headsets weren't the best for clarity so bring your own, and the docent spoke too fast for me to understand much of what was spoken. This one hour is rushed, as are all those tours becuz so many want to see it. I'd read up first on this then go alone to spend more time there.

Esperienza positiva. Appuntamento rispettato così come gli orari. La guida (Chiara) brava ed esaustiva. Unica pecca è stata la lingua della spiegazione ma posso aver sbagliato. E non era disponibile l'audioguida la la classica ricetrasmittente.

My husband and I went on the tour to St Mark's Basilica and we were very impressed. The tour is very well organised and professional, my husband and I got very lost trying to get there, the kind tour organisers rang us to see where we were and sent us a pin, crucial in Venice. We were in a small group of 10 people with Francesca as our guide. Francesca was brilliant, she is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with deep historical knowledge of Venice and its churches and museums. She took us across St Mark's Square while explaining the early history of Venice, its establishment and by whom, taking us through the centuries and the history of the building of the Basilica. Once inside, Francesca shared her wealth of knowledge by explaining each mosaic panel overhead, greatly enhancing and enriching the experience. She also explained the history of the different sections of the Basilica, the different stones used and also how St Mark ended up in the Basilica- a very interesting story about the Crusades. I probably would not have know where to look first without her guidance and structured approach. Francesca told other anecdotes and answered questions, she is clearly a knowledgeable scholar of Venetian history. I had studied art history back in the day but this was way beyond what you can find as a generic description of the Basilica. This was the best tour I have been on of its kind and definitely recommend it. Thank you Francesca for enhancing our visit, we will definitely sign up for other Headout tours!
