I had visited before, but I still took away something new. The opera house is well worth every visit and simply gorgeous. On top of that, our guide (Erik) took plenty of time for questions as well as providing great information. We were thrilled and it was wonderful listening to him. It was just great. Because our guide was so genuinely fascinated by the opera himself—both the individual performances and the building itself—his enthusiasm was completely contagious, and you could see it rub off on the other guests on the tour who we didn't know beforehand.

The tour is well organized, well timed and the guide was knowledgable and her english was easy to understand. Opera house is really worth visiting even without a guide but with this lady it was memorable. We payed few euros aditionally for foto licence and it was good decision.

A guided tour of the Semperoper is highly recommended. The building is gorgeous, and even during its third reconstruction, great love and care went into the details. With all the background information provided, you look at everything much more closely and truly respect the work that went into it.

It was really nice experience, we enjoyed a lot the inside of the Opera, the girl who guided us was very kind and imagine that we lived in Dresden 6 years and were never been at the Opera!

The guide did a very good job and made sure to include everyone. Having a tablet with her to show pictures was also really great. What was a pity was that we were only on one side. It was really great that there was an elevator and we were allowed to use it. She was very knowledgeable and you could ask her anything, she always knew the answer.

The tour of the Semperoper was very informative and revealed many new and interesting details to us. Our group didn't like that 4 tours were taking place at the same time and that the guides' explanations overlapped, especially in the auditorium. A bit of a shame for older visitors with hearing aids.
