Combo: Ngong Ping Cable Car Ride + Lantau Island Guided Tour

Ride the cable car from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping in either a Standard Cabin or Crystal Cabin with a glass bottom, allowing you to easily see the landscape below.

Meet your guide at Ngong Ping Village, then travel by coach to Tai O fishing village, where you board a boat to float among canals lined with stilt houses.

Step inside a traditional stilt house in Tai O and learn how locals build over water to manage tides, space, and weather from your guide.

Visit Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Big Buddha after returning from Tai O. Enjoy the temple rituals, the architecture, and walk the steps up to take in the wide views.

End the day with free time in Ngong Ping Village, browse shops, eat local snacks, and then return to Tung Chung via the cable car before 6pm.

Crystal Cabin Cable Car Ride: Take your cable car ride a step further with an upgrade to the Crystal Cabins, featuring glass bottoms for sweeping 360-degree views of Lantau Island below.

Carry personal items such as sunscreen, hats, and umbrellas for sun or rain protection.

Accessibility

Guests are responsible for assessing their own physical condition before joining the tour.

Additional information

Bookings must be made at least 2 days in advance.

Guests must redeem tickets at Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal at least 45 minutes before the assembly time. Latest ticket redemption is at 11:15am; assembly is at 12:00pm at the Holidays 360 Information Center in Ngong Ping Village.

The guided tour lasts approximately 3 hours and is conducted in English, Putonghua, or Cantonese.

If the cable car service is suspended due to weather or other reasons, the tour will be cancelled or rescheduled. Guests may exchange tickets for another date or request a refund.

If the Tai O boat excursion is unavailable, a HK$20 voucher for Ngong Ping 360 Souvenir Shops will be provided.

The itinerary and order of activities may change due to traffic or operational reasons.
