My wife and I visited Universal Studios on 18 June 2026. We did not know what to expect. We only had previous parks trips to guide us. Once we arrived, we pretty much disregarded all of our previous park experiences. Universal Studios was absolutely amazing. The entire staff, from the greeting individuals at the front to the people that saw us when we departed were extremely courteous and welcoming. The staff that greeted us in the restaurants, cleaned our tables were just so upbeat. Staff in the stores, and walking on the street greeted us with a smile. It was a wsrm day and I am sure working is not always great but one would never know this judging by the staff. We have been to several parks over the years, Disney in the States, Japan and at least 20 times to Europe Disney, which is where we live and never have had such a great experience. By the way, I am not looking for an award. I just wanted to express our feelings about Universal Studios.

Today we experienced universal Japan for the first time. It was truly one of the most fun days ever. My personal favorite was the flying dinosaur ride at the Jurassic park. I was terrified and it ended up being my favorite ride ever. And the snoopy land and hello kitty land was truly special to me. I grew up with these characters so it meant the world for them to be brought to life. We also went on the Zed ride which was truly one of a kind. Felt like we were transported to another universe. 10/10 park and 10/10 day with my best friends.

A really fun day out for everyone! USJ is bigger, cleaner, better serviced, and has better rides than any other theme park I have ever been to. On top of all of that, there is an amazing Waterworld show unlike any I've seen before. The value of the tickets is superb, with how many attractions it gives you access to. Mario World was great, but the rest of the park holds its own as well. It should be a "must do" while you're in Osaka. We got there at 08:00 for the gates opening, and were there until 21:00. It is well worth your time.

Very easy to enter the attraction, we both managed to do our favorites despite the crowds. Some areas are times so we needed to book in advance, it was new to us but we learned just Fust. We even got into a lottery to visit one attraction. We arrived by noon and left around 8:30.. crowded but smooth. The staff was adorable, helpful and made the visit memorable to us.

We visited Universal Studios Japan—it was truly beautiful and exciting. Every detail was carefully thought out, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the various settings dedicated to the most famous franchises. The only downside is that there are no rides for very young children; the minimum height requirement is 92 centimeters, so children under two years old won’t be able to enjoy any rides. On the bright side, there are switch passes available for parents.

A wonderful experience, marred by a few drawbacks. For example, the rides were out of service every three hours, and the seats on the thrill rides weren’t suitable for everyone—especially people with long legs. But despite that, the park is magical, the scenery is sensational, and the rides I was able to go on were spectacular.

Amazing experience at USJ with our family of 4! We visited on a Friday and waiting times were very manageable. From Sept 8 to Nov 5, 2023, Universal Studios Japan transformed into a scream fest with Halloween Horror Nights. Encounter zombies roaming the streets and dancing, and enter horror mazes inspired by Chucky, Sadako, Biohazard, and Universal Monsters. With the Halloween Horror Night Express Pass 4, reduce your wait time for 4 of these attractions by entering through a special lane. Choose from different types of Express Passes depending on your preference and availability. Whether it's the eerie allure of Sadako's Curse or the novelty of Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge™, this pass ensures your night is packed with both dread and delight.

Important Information

Visit within your voucher validity period (90 days from the selected date) on any date displayed on the calendar corresponding with your Pass type (A, B, C, D, E).

This ticket is for non-Japanese passport holders only.

Large/extra-large lockers are only available outside the park (additional cost).

If possible, avoid visiting the park during weekends as the waiting time for attractions will be longer.

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Guests suffering from any medical condition that can be exacerbated during a particular ride will not be permitted.

Wheelchair or electric wheelchair users will be required to switch to the seats used within the attraction.

Photography, eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited during a ride.

Halloween Horror Night Express Pass 4

Children aged 14 and under are restricted from buying USJ Halloween Pass due to violent content.

You cannot select your preferred entry time for each ride. You can only enter specific rides during the time shown on your Express Pass.
